If it's the case the player can just say "nah I'm good thanks" surely that's a massive problem with the AFL concussion policies?

The one thing the NRL does well is their HIA system. They take the club docs out of it and if a concussion risk is pulled up the player must come off.

With port last year and now this surely this change needs to come into play. Pretty simple. Independent doc looks at the vision and orders the player off.
