West Coast started ok, but ultimately the umpires did a number on them, and 70k Collingwood ferrals got the pies over the line.

Going for the Eagles. Hated them in the 90s and 00s but have softened towards them in recent years, I have always got on with their BF fans and haven't forgotten what they and their supporters did in the first game after Phil Walsh's death.

Hoping the very similar margin they beat Melbourne by in the PF to what we beat Geelong by last year isn't a bad omen.

Collingwood should of won over west, they dominated them a fair bit. MCG is 5+ goals the other way, collingwood will certainly win.

We beat them in Melbourne by 35.
JK had just come back in that 1st final and couldnt hold the ball til late in the game. Hes blown the cobwebs out now. What he does for our structure is immense.
I was not confident in 2015. Our fwd line got shut down.
Add Cripps, Ryan, Rioli, Venables, Vardy and Lycett to the goal scoring options other than just JK, JD and Lecras and im highly confident we have the firepower to kick more than Collingwood.
Also the defence to stop them too.
If Hutchings stops Sidebottom we win.
My prediction is a very scrappy close game til half time. Eagles will work their way to a 3 to 4 goal lead at 3/4 Time and then ram it home with a 5 or 6 goal to bugger all last qtr.
Eagles by 50 to 60.
We wont jump Pies like we did the Dees. Pies looked out on their feet in the 2nd half against Tiges. It maybe a day less break but we have a week off. Eagles are primed.

The Pies being rewarded for a home grand final is massive.

If the Eagles had Gaff and Nic I would feel so confident on them, but the Pies train will be full throttle on Saturday arvo.
