Usually it would be Eagles for me, and they did win some brownie points by creaming Melbourne, but Collingwood won a truckload more by smashing the most arrogant, AFL-favoured shitcan club Richmond, and for that I should be forever grateful. Soooo, I'll wait to see how that ol' AFL GF umpiring is going before I choose who to barrack for. Yet the Afl have this draft salary cap and club equalisation policy to maintain fairness. All it does is maintain ten clubs in Victoria.
Six of those clubs would not exist if not for these policy's and are able to lure players with salaries effectivley paid by the likes of us and west coast

I want west coast to win only because I'm sick of flags been won by default. The last two flags won by clubs given a free ride against non Victorian clubs.

Don't get me wrong I don't like west coast. They got a free ride in 2006. And Cousins has admitted he was in drugs that year and that's how he managed to play the way he did. Richmond would be playing on thier home ground. Playing Saturday afternoon still gave them seven day break.

West coast have less than seven and travel 4 hours in a plane and spend two nights in a hotel room.

Any other year I'd want West Coast to win this, I'll be happy for them, but after last years disaster, I kind of want another non-Victorian team to join us in the misery.

Apparently beating them at home as the higher ranking team isn't enough, to claim the prize they now have to travel to Collingwood's home ground and beat them there as well.

Of course we all know the team that deserves to win, the better team, will win on the day (no mention of them being better because they stick to their routine and play at home and no mention of people saying travelling to Optus Stadium hurt Melbourne's chances).

If it wasn't for Vic bias media/umps/MRP, I'd not give a rats toss bag about this Grand Final. So I'm voting Eagles. I also think they deserve it more, being the better team overall.
