Trying to be positive, rather than worry about the opposite:
A few pre-game thoughts:
Caff with a rest may be sharper / Goldy the same on Thursday?
Big test for JT to help allow Swanny to play more outside.
Big test for Sincs to show he take his chances in front of the goals - if he doesn't, [no wait, being positive today ].
Shawy to have a big one after struggling last week.
Lynchy to bounce back after probably being sore last week.
Seeds to bounce back from the Carlton game, where I think he wasn't prepared mentally.
Me to drink steadily, rather than down too many early so I can finish the game strongly...

I think we really need to worry about winning this game before we start thinking too much about the Essendon game, and D. Thomas playing a fair chunk of it rather than a cameo role as sub surely helps with that. I'm still hoping it's meant to be J. Thomas as the sub.
