Time to get this thread back on track.

I’ll start by stating that Communism, Capitalism, Soccer and Threesomes all have one thing in common … they all work best in theory.
Practical or not, if any of you have a sound theoretical justification for threesomes I'd be interested in hearing it/trying it on. Soccer I couldn't give a stuff about.

Of all the people seeking a justification for threesomes, the last I expected was Tiberius. But please do try to go for consenting adult humans.

I thought nobody expected the Spanish Inquisition?

The enlightenment was inspired by socialist indigenous communities across the parts of the world that Europeans and particularly the French conquered.

Also fwiw - Marx penned his manifesto when workers were treated like s**t, the monarchies and empires of europe still had absolute power in cases and mostly workers were treated like disposable refuse instead of with any real dignity. he wasn't writing it now. the idea that a working class person could afford to buy their own home, a holiday home and own a car (ie a horse and private carriage) or even a fishing boat. Ie could have that level of autonomy and also would work in industries where workers were not expendable and their lives had financial value (ie they weren't worthless and you pay if you * them up while they work for you) and they were treated with human dignity.

If he genuinely though that was a posssibility he wouldn't have written what he wrote.

But its also not as simple as that. In terms of working class people on earth when we had those things in Australia (ie until neo liberalism really started working) we were globally in the 1% as far as income goes. Even if it was just a standard income 30 to 50 years ago. Same in the US. There was alot of extra input into our wealth that we didn't see.
Yet the living standards and average age went through the roof with the industrial revolution. The enlightenment was largely due to the printing press when people could read for themselves what the bible actually said. The monarchies were mostly broke from endless wars which paved the way for the industrial revolution. Yes they were still there but no where near the power and influence they previously held.

Does anybody else wonder if the AFL investigation committee's meetings branched out to other topics like these Clarkson threads? And that the reason it took over 8 months was because they would start talking about the Hawthorn report, before discussing preferred methods of dim sim cooking, capitalism v socialism & Orangutans?

Potato cakes v scallops took up most of their time.

I think the truth of that is they actually all work best when they're off their face on drugs. Ask Maradonna.
I remember when Molly first showed her on Countdown, singing “Holiday” I believe. Now you mention it she did look stoned out…

I know they had an issue when they came to Adelaide for interviews. There was all sorts of drama at The Cathedral Hotel when someone tried to order a Parma. The staff had no idea what he was talking about. The kitchen was made to produce all documentation pertaining to their menus from 2012-2016.

I had a Parma at The Earl Of Zetland.

I think all parties will be happy with this. In hindsight, should have been the course of action from the beginning.

Below is exactly what Fagan, Clarkson have asked for from the start. Seems the AHRC might do this lot better than the AFL

The Commission will notify you that it has received a complaint and will provide you with a copy of the complaint. The Commission wants to hear your views on the matter and wants to make sure you have a fair opportunity to respond and resolve the complaint.

Idiot. Im a staunch militant socialist ya gronk. Barrack for Labor? Spell it correctly ya *in muppet. I endorse taking money from the rich and putting it in the pockets of the people who need it.

Your days are gone buddy. Have a night cap and drift away into nothingness
In other words your a Communist. And we know how well Communism works. As for the spelling of "Labor" I suggest you ask Clokey how it is correctly spelt Idiot!. :stern look

And as for my days. They are glorious now as they have ever been. Very easy playing clowns like you on a break. :stern look

First Nations families at centre of Hawthorn racism saga lodged proceedings in the Australian Human Rights Commission

The four First Nations families at the centre of the Hawthorn racism saga have officially lodged proceedings in the Australian Human Rights Commission.

The four First Nations families at the centre of the Hawthorn racism saga have officially lodged proceedings in the Australian Human Rights Commission.
Three days after Gillon McLachlan announced the AFL had closed its independent investigation panel into historic claims of racism at Hawthorn, the families’ lawyer Leon Zwier came good on a promise to continue the fight.

The claim is part of a formal process that could eventually see the proceedings head to Federal Court.

Two other families, which did not take part in the AFL process, are exploring separate civil claims.

Justin Quill, partner at major law firm Thomson Geer, said the Human Rights Commission would be an opportunity for conciliation between the parties.

But Quill said the body did not make binding decisions and doesn’t impose penalties or punishments.

“The Human Rights Commission doesn’t make enforceable decisions. They can’t order Alastair Clarkson to apologise or pay damages. They can’t order Chris Fagan to not coach or to undertake training. There are no penalties or binding orders made by the Human Rights Commission,” he said.

“Really it is an opportunity for the parties to come together and perhaps resolve this issue.

“If not then the applicant has the opportunity to take action in whatever forum they want.

“But there are no binding findings that will impact the parties. Having said that it is an opportunity to bring the parties together and given that hasn’t happened to date, that might be beneficial.”

Quill said if a party wanted to bring a claim to court under the Racial Discrimination Act, they must first go to the Human Rights Commission.
