Appreciate the insight Marc Shmurf 3 - how can you possibly know the details the vote? Your source must be ridiculously close and also very loose tongued. I love the info and the rumours (though yours are more often than not correct) but it concerns me how we continue to leak things this easily.

I can only hope we don't do the same as last year (think Robbo/Jeffy) around trade time.

Yeah. Some leaks the club can't control. This we can.

However, it's not damaging. It's a good news story and a cool insight into the club.

True true... just seems the Blues leak the most info - more than any other club... or it could be that we have the most info-hungry fans and those with the best sources... either way I can't complain about your insights.

Caro, Damo, Robbo, Hutchy etc make up 70% of the leaks. Their information is always "sources close to the football club" or "Carlton people I speak to"

Now that could be any former player, board member or drunken bar fly but unlikely to be anyone who actually knows, unless of course it's for their own purposes.

I am somewhat encouraged that he didn't vote the same way as Jeanne Pratt, good they vote independently. Not much, but it's something.

Given our board has 13 people on it when it should have 8 and 12 people voted for Bolton, that means Bolton received 150% of the votes!!!!!!!!

Jeanne did the old reverse donkey vote as she couldn't read the candidates names. She got it right this time...

Nat seems to have good mail but I would be somewhat suprised if the panel actually told the board that they were split. Surely they would come up with the canidate and just propose them? No point telling the Board they are 50/50.

I posted it to give an insight that although we have posters with good sources there is always another story.

Barker impressed a lot of people, put a great case forward all things considered.
