I think you made your point about 400 posts back. We don't need repeated pages of posts about how Test cricket isn't the same as the golden oldies days. Don't like it, don't watch it.

So Cowan should be dropped going by that post because of slow run-rate?

Calm down.

Maybe should have added 58 of these....

Cowan is doing a great job. I love his work.

Then stop with the repeated snipes towards Hughes. He has gone back to domestic level, is putting a lot of work into his deficiencies, just let the man be.

The last time they worked in his technique it came back worse:eek:

I seriously hope he gets a better coach this time.

I don't mind the rotator. It would be good to see how much dip balls with more revs on them have.

I'd rather RPM than RPS but not bad.

Edit: ^^MWNN
It's a rev counter on the ball.

why is criticism of hughes unjustified?

One of the least deserved test selections in a long time. 17 tests on the back of his mateship with clarke.

Let him earn his test selection, and this time with 1 or 2 seasons of good form, not straight into the test side of 1 or 2 innings.

Before his test debut people here were SCREAMING to get him in the side. He'd dominated Shield cricket. Then backed it up before being dropped to protect Johnson.

Picking him the second time was ludicrous and did Hughes himself no favours.

It isn't unjustified, it just isn't relevant anymore. He has been dropped, won't be seen for a fair while, so just let him work on his game without the whole of Australia howling down on him every second. He also doesn't pick the team, so you can't blame him for that. And you don't know he was picked because of Clarke, what a load of unsubstantiated shit that is.
