How did you feel when the umpire 50m away paid the free to Murphy 20m out right in front in the third?

I posted at the time that it was a soft free. Made even softer by the fact that Armfield nearly had his head ripped off moments before and play-on was called. If it was called in the last couple of minutes of a one kick contest it would be even worse. Not sure why the hell you defend anything like this in our game; results decided like this. It's not about your club. It's not about my club. It's about the game of football and that was a disgrace. And I suspect (or at least hope) that if your club wasn't involved you might feel the same way.

Let's also keep in mind how many missed shots Geelong had. Geelong could've iced that game in the third.

That's why supporters are complaining. That last game is fresh in the memory. We probably deserved to square the two games against them this year. Just not getting reward for effort. You'd be fuming if we were playing for a finals spot ... surely?

The free kick against Rowe pissed me off, that wasn't a free.. The one against Doc unfortunately was..

I am disappointed with the lose, but we can't continually blame umpires for losing. Carlton need to start winning the game off our own boot, and also knowing how to shut down games properly. I would prefer to see Carlton win games this way than via favourable umpiring decisions.
