Surely Rohan plays a full match next week and he plays 4 quarters in the forward line - think he's something we've been missing down there at times this year and we've got to stop shifting him to defence to fill gaps

I know he can play behind the ball, but he's much better as a forward and much better for the team when playing forward
Added to which, playing Henry in the forward line is just giving the other side an extra unmanned defender free to waltz up the middle of the ground

I also have no doubt that if a minimum of 2 of Stewart, J. Henry & Kolodjashnij were fully fit & available, that we'd have seen SDK miss at least one of round 2 and/or 3 just due to how much he's been beaten up each week

So we're dealing with player unavailability from the preseason, but then adding new injuries every week - I know we weren't totally injury free last year, but while we had the odd best 22 player unavailable it was more players in the fringes of best 22 or depth that were out

This year we've been whacked with guys we would have expected in our best 22, and all from similar areas of the ground - gets really hard to cover at times

Injuries are compounded by the fundamental fact that the side is unfit, and players like Stewart, Henry and Kolo would likely have presented just as unfit as the rest of their teammates if they hadn't been injured.

Actually was watching F1 but that got a bit boring, and kind of watched on split screen when I saw the score. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I enjoyed it. And I bet you’re loving that we’re currently struggling. It’s been a pretty good rivalry over the years and next week could be quite interesting….albeit expecting you guys smashing us, but I never expected us to win last year either.
So are we the underdogs against a team accused of tanking?

And we don’t have the depth

The sad part is we supporters will continue to care while the players have just given up.

I dont expect us to win, i dont expect us to make finals...I do expect us to try. Right now we arent even doing that. Some players need a hard reality check. Some players that have become cult heroes on this board need to have their position in the team seriously questioned.

But that wont happen. Because Scott has his favourites and he will continue to find excuses for them at all costs. Much like this board finds excuses for them.

Our forward line had the perfect structure last year with Jez, Hawk, Rohan, Stengle, Close and Miers. Adding a defensively suspect Henry to that mix, especially when Hawkins can barely move, has thrown the balance out of whack and suddenly we're completely unable to lock the ball in our forward half and are getting killed on transition.

We should have stuck with the structure that won us the premiership and made Henry earn his spot.

You know it’s concerning when everyone is saying it’s time to look to the youth but the youth got smashed by 100+ points in the game before.

That youth will be different when it plays with the experience we have in the AFL. Now is the time to expose some different players to AFL football, especially with our next two games being against young teams.

His defensive game is almost non existent. With Close forgetting how to lay a tackle we are very easy to move away from when we don’t have the ball in our forward 50.
