Yeah Nicks will run some of them into the ground by backing them in. The next phase of his coaching development is to drop underperforming players instead of showing no faith in the squad that's not playing. His philosophy is dont change anything unless we go down by 60 plus.

Absolutely must rest Tex. Go in against Geelong with a smaller forward line would be an advantage. I would make 4 changes.

Out: Tex (rested), Murphy (SANFL standard), Milera, Schoenberg

In: Newchurch, Berry, Worrell, Cook (sub).

Newchurch must get a run. Has kicked 4.2, 0.3, 2.3 and 4.0 in his last 4 starts at SANFL level. Just feel like he is the type of player who will excel around elite talent. He also provides something we haven't had since Charlie left and thats absolute electric pace. He replaces Tex and we go smaller in the forward line with TT and FOG as our primary KPF.

Worrell replaces Milera. Gives us more drive and provides another taller option to assist with Cameron.

Murphy goes to the SANFL and stays there. Just doesn't have an elite AFL trait. He is an honest trier, but in the AFL you need elite traits to succeed. Berry comes in for him.

Schoenberg - no idea on what to bloody do with him. Showed so much promise in 2021. Could be wrong, but he seems like someone who has the talent, but doesn't have the work ethic to make it at AFL level. Better off having Cook come in and be sub.

Berry in for Murphy - can easily play that role and will add to midfield rotations. Murphy has stunk 2 weeks in a row and true Murphy has returned.
Cook or Nank for Milera - has also stunk for 2 weeks and needs a kick up the arse
