After having zero expectations all year, I am just going to allow myself damn well enjoy the next two games. I watched the video below (5 times!), and am starting to get pumped!

(WARNING: This video might contain NUTS ... Or, images of a smiling Ken Hinkley, both have been known to cause serious harm, and even death in extreme cases)

Hell you forgot to give a incoming cuddle warning!

I would seriously be looking at dropping Mac and Cheese. Doesn’t offer enough for a small fwd- would be looking at Raz and The tank to fill the small fwd/ sub positions.

"In the movie so much work went into the "Atomic Bomb". So many people have to come together in any situation... This finals "campaign" for us has been about us building and coming together for about 4 years"

.... Is the "Atomic Bomb" a code phrase for "group sex" and "campaign" an auto-correct?

Are we St Kilda now?

Since someone seems to give more of a s**t about goals per inside 50:

Brisbane is 1% more efficient than scoring and defending goals than we are. In other words, in a game where the inside 50s were even at 50 a piece, Brisbane would win by 3 points.
Now do it vs good teams when it matters.

Like say prelims.

If Lycett can pull a rabbit out of the hat & perform like he did against Tim English, we’ll win. We have to get the game on our terms & deny the Lions easy forward entries. Send Drew to Neale the moment he runs through the banner, & keep it that way until the final siren. As for JHF, you just feel the kid was born for the month of September, he’s the big wildcard IMO.

I think a lot of people are rating Brisbane based on their side on paper, not their reality. Their reality has not been delivering on all the talent and ability at their disposal - partly because their spine is not reliable outside of Andrews. Daniher, Hipwood, Payne, Lester are all prone to stupid errors among others.

I am confident our midfield depth will overcome them by the last quarter, can we stay with them until then?

Defence is the issue, if the Lions breakdown Allirs intercept game we can be easily scored against. We know and they know our weakness , the hope is that the mids deny them sufficient supply.

On paper, we can take it up against anyone in the league, I just have zero confidence of us not being cooked mentally in the finals.
We've got different people in the middle now and those people are very confident in their own ability particular after winning the coaches award, the most courageous etc. We have three all Australians with a spring in their step. I do worry about JHF's mental strength with his age and the fact that it took Kenny coming down to the bench to keep him on track that's not a hit against JHF I think he's really young and he's done spectacularly well with what he's had dished out to him. He won't have an issue in Brisbane but Collingwood were the first team to boo him and they'll go hard next time we meet them (their supporters gave it a red hot go at AO).

I'm old enough to remember what people said about our only premeirship winning side and coach and the sh*t they copped for being chokers etc. I liked hearing Ollie today saying that the biggest thing for them is to be true to the Port Adelaide way. I still think we need someone else in defence and that we're struggling with a very underdone McKensie but if we can win clearances and push the ball to our offence I reckon it's going to be close.

JHF is the one I least worry about coming into finals, the guy is an animal.

This game and the final’s series revolves around three guys in the midfield. They have a great finals series and we’ll win the whole thing. Big if…
And if Dixon returned. Dixon on Moore is a great match up - I reckon Dixon won the battle at AO

I really think Fantasia comes in. Could turn a game on it’s head

OUT: Hayes, McEntee, Jonas, Lord
IN: Lycett, Fantasia, McKenzie, Marshall
SUB: Evans
