Crouch must play. Baffled if he doesn't.
Yes and Pets must be dropped and Jaensch with a forward with some impact like Lynch or Johnston must come in as well.
Believe Tambling should be given a go to add some speed and run from defence and he can tackle unlike Mackay and Reilly etc. But looks like will not happen.
Cannot believe Smack even mentioned about getting a game as lead up was crap followed by crap effort in SANFL.

Don't mind Lynch playing in itself, but I just know we'll ignore him on the lead every time which will be frustrating as hell. Though a big reason for that happening last year was the Tippett vacuum so there may be a glimmer of hope.

Walker + two effective leading forwards really should be a dream forwardline.
IMO playing Lynch would mean dropping Henderson, who was ordinary against the Dons with poor kicking & slow decision making (wasn't alone thoug, so will probably get another chance). Either could be the sub.

I may be wrong here but somewhere in the back of my mind is a message that Lynch has kicked goal/s for every game or part game he has played. ? He's only played a handful but only Porps,Callinan and Walker have better goal averages per game. Goal scoring sub.

He has kicked 7 in 6 games for us but has been held goalless twice (rd 8 v Carlton and rd 23 v Gold Coast).

In terms of him being the sub, he was definitely sub rd 2 v Bulldogs last year but came on in the 1st quarter when Douglas did a hammy and played his best game for us - 17 touches and 2 goals. I also reckon he was the sub against Carlton in rd 8.

I thought Tambling put in a crap SANFL effort - but only saw the last half.

Not a good start to 2013 from Sando in terms of his message. Said he wouldn't waste time alluding to last year, yet he and his henchmen are bringing it up every time they're interviewed. Feels like we're staring behind us constantly.

There is nothing to indicate we're even a chance to get up this week.

What constitutes barracking for another club? Changing the word below a user name on a website.

Using language like "henchmen" is quite strong language. Let's not get stuck into the club at every setback or disappointment. The negativity is pathetic and doesn't actually achieving anything. Wallowing after one defeat is self indulgent and over the top.

If things continue to be bad, then concern is warranted. But at the moment it smacks of being a panic merchant.

You seem to be dedicating a lot more time to online floggery at the moment, Amer... You on annual leave?

Yeah he only had 23% game time, and given we absolutely whooped them from the second quarter onwards the lack of stats probably isn't too surprising, as much effort was spent getting it to Tippett who had at least 7 scoring shots (and kicked his only 3 goals in last quarter junk time).

Sorry to break it to you guys, but Johnston will not play for the Crows this week given North Adelaide had the bye to start the season...

Lynch will get the nod if a spot is available after a strong showing for Glenelg.

Don't see why this should matter. If the coaching staff believe Johnston will offer more to the side than Lynch, then he should be able to get the nod. It's not his fault North had the bye!
