Some of the changes I get. The rest make no sense.

Rotham over Hough after doing nothing? Oneil dropped after 24 disposals. Cripps in after no match fitness in months. Get in the bin match committee
Simpson is a bad coach. Had enough of him

I hate dropping O'Neill for Cripps after what looked like a breakthrough game last week. Cripps' forward pressure has been vital for years, but with JJ, Rioli and Langdon out there, we can actually cover for him now and should have eased him back through the WAFL.

West shouldnt have been dropped. It'll be interesting to see the level of effort these guys coming back in give

Can't wait for Cripps to fumble his way to 0.4.

Good player when fit and in form but usually needs a few warm up games to find touch, his first is almost always an absolute mare.

Hope to be proved wrong!

XON out is just...baffling. our entire first string midfield are going to be rusty/underdone.

Can see us blowing up by three quarter time and being overrun comfortably.

Le sigh, fingers crossed the ins are raring to go.

bad calls here, rushing all these players into the team. Cripps and Rotham should be WAFL. O'Nell getting dropped is terrible decision now the midfield will be unfit and struggle to run out the game

He's past his best but Kennedy out (the Sydney one) is a bonus for us.

How is Cripps coming straight back? If it was good enough for Yeo to play WAFL (and Shuey last year) why not him?

Really tough on O'Neill. Simpson has talked a lot about "synergies" yet he drops someone who is now just making his mark.

Can't wait for these underdone midfielders to blow up halfway through the 3rd. Bulldogs @ Optus 2021 style.

Williams for Naitanui is forced as is HEdwards for McGovern

Rotham for Hough I don’t understand. Thought Hough played well and barely noticed Rotham in the last quarter when he came on to replace LEdwards. It also makes our backline look a little top heavy

Cripps for Waterman. Whilst I’m a fan of Waterman I don’t think he’s been playing well enough to hold his spot do his omission is fair enough. Whether Cripps is the right replacement see below

Shuey, Yeo, Kelly for LEdwards, O’Neill, West is a significant improvement no matter how well those 3 young guys played against Collingwood- on paper. Bringing all 3 back plus Cripps in the same game is a substantial risk given they’ve all had interrupted preparations

It feels like one too many changes and I think we could have give O’Neill another run to see how he goes with a little bit more quality around him. Hopefully I’m wrong and it doesn’t bite us on the arse.

That said it does feel good to be looking at team changes and being able to say there’s a couple of players genuinely unlucky to be omitted and there’s pressure on the 22 named to play well enough to hold their spots

O'Neil probably our most solid midfielder coming through and I said this pre season when O'Neil wasn't "Cool" I copped it !! ......now dropped again , tough on Xavier but he's showing capable of playing AFL ....Wait and See
