I just hope we pick our best available side in every game we play. There are no easy games and Gold Coast will certainly present a different challenge.

When the club extends ziebells expected return by two weeks there was clearly something not keeping him at 100 percent. Even though he felt right..

So with wells, a player who has undergone lung as well as physical treatment in recent times, it's more so about not taking the risk with him to further maintain his longevity. So clearly he isnt 100 percent if he misses a vital game in freo. Musculoskeletal issues and their potential risk factors don't simply disappear. Especially if your pushing thirties.

It's not arrogance. We won without him this week. If he isn't 100% don't play him and give him the extra week break. What is "fit enough" anyway, 70%? 80%?

I wouldn't be against wells coming back through the twos his form this year has been average at best. While that may have something to do with him playing injured, there have been a number of passages this year where he has simply lacked desire

If Swallow and Wells are right to go, they play. From the sounds of things Wells just has a badly bruised foot, certainly doesn't sound like we'd be 'risking' him. It's amazing the level of complacency that takes over this board when we have a win. Reminds me of comments along the lines of 'don't change a winning team, keep Jacobs in and make Ziebell earn his spot'. Pick the best bloody team.

Spot on. Swallow and Wells are 2 of our best players. Im surprised that most people on here don't seem to want Swallow to play. He is the captain and a 3 time best and fairest winner. If he is right to go he should play.

Tippett did his job. That's why he is on the list. Unlucky to get dropped but it's a great problem to have.

I don't mind Nahas but it's very worrying he can't last 3 quarters.

I thought Majak did as well as we could expect against Freo. Much better than Currie.
