I will be in Melbourne at the opera when the game is being played. Booked this girls trip after the Brisbane loss. Guess I can commiserate the loss at the champagne bar stop afterwards.

Ah the opera? Puccini's Magic Michelangelo perhaps? :p

Just don't even think about it this week. Any confidence or hope building inside of you, cast aside by remembering the Geelong final. This team only delivers when everyone writes it off and rubbishes its chances. Now is absolutely the time for us supporters to do our bit and turn on the coach and the players, to elicit a hardened response from them. If they get praised this week, they'll come out on Friday in a slumber again.
I honestly think these 'backs to the wall' performances actually prove why a new coach would be of value. That intangible motivation factor that Hinkley has failed to illicit out of our players is needing to come from external sources. When it does we see the team lift to a whole new level. If we could harness that we'd be on the cusp of a golden era.

We are unlikely to bring in Ladhams this week. That must be worth a 112 point differential since we last met…

We’d never beaten the Giants in 3 previous finals. Eventually the Kenny curse since 16 will be broken.

Either way should be a great game not involving some bloke on instagram who’s now on holidays.
Will be a nil all draw.

That’s free kick counts, umpires won’t know who to favour.

To be fair to Ladhams you couldn't get the ball past centre anyway, so your forward line made little difference.

Obviously expecting a hugely different proposition this week with Papley & Rampe back, whilst we've lost a few and look pretty banged up.

Are you going to delist the Pistol? If we sack Hinkley we might like him back.

I think Geelong is going to comfortably beat Brisbane next week, and if that is the case one of us is going to be playing Geelong at the MCG. I just hope whoever wins out of our two teams is able to beat Geelong at the MCG.
No Way , Brisbane is too good for Geelong.

Sydney still have a habit of starting slow since we played them last. Has been a feature of theirs all year really.

In their previous 4 games, they have only been ahead at half time once, against Adelaide who also managed 6 goals in the first.

They’ve been behind against Collingwood, Essendon and the Giants. 2 quite average teams in there.

If we start strong, getting pressure on early will be essential.
