They won't open the doors to an external review because they'd likely be hit with some very harsh truths and keeping certain people in comfortable positions is the most important thing at the club.

I agree that Port is average but if we lose, given the in's we have, what will that make us??? I want to see some new blood rather than putting up with Mac and Doug. Dont mean to be disrespectful to those two but thats not what we need. Also want to see what McAdam and or Stengle get a run at the expense of Murphy.

Disgraceful that the likes of Jones and Wilson wallow away in the SANFL while constant disappointments and cooked seniors in Douglas and Mackay keep getting gifted games. Does the club really think that we'll win a flag due to experience even though those two especially repeatedly shit themselves on the big stage? I would've thought the GF and last year's Showdown was proof of that but they have no memory or foresight.

We were very competitive against the Cats for 3 quarters over there, our form isn't that bad....we are favourite to win, so I think around 3-4 goals (is that "comfortable"?).
