Vardy in this week now alters the structure. Waterman will be the casualty in the structure. When Lycett comes on Nic Nat has gone to interchange. Vardy would be likely to spend time fwd same for Lycett.

We had Collingwood done before the bounce today as they have injuries either end just like us 2 weeks ago. The bench was set to stretch them. Mission accomplished.

But Sheed & Masten don't play remotely similar roles....

The Sheed role is the Redden role and we don't want to play 2 in that role because we become slow. Neither of them can play forward because they are slow.

Or are you proposing that Sheed plays the outside link up guy despite his suspect tank, average pace and ordinary ball use and decision making?

At his best he's a decent player but he has limitations

Vardy is a 100% lock guys. Stop suggesting otherwise. Hes a former Geelong player. Big game experience. He will perfect to support Lycett and play as that 3rd fwd. Well actually when he goes fwd he can allow Jack Darling to roam.

He averages 0.4 goals a game. Same as Hutching who has to tag at the same time.

Sheed can't come in, I don't see the balance. Our midfield is playing superbly without him, it's humming along. Bring him in and you lose a lot defensively as well as losing pace. Venables offers something so very different and I'd like there to be only two changes, or if they have to only bring Barrass in.

Im no messiah. I just understand Nic Nat has only been playing 60% of games. And Vardy wont play all in the ruck but play a lot Fwd. That automatically removes Waterman.

Watch Jack Darling now. Vardy fwd will let Darling right off the leash..so to counter the run that Waterman somewhat gives us we bring in a running player.

Disagree so much. Waterman's work ethic is vital for our forward line. Vardy/Lycett can rotate primarily off the bench - Lycett playing primarily forward with both JD and JK back is just silly.
