I can't say we were a good organisation under Trigg or Fagan.
Both made desperate, short sighted moves to take heat off themselves.
I was done with him the moment he straight up lied to me about Crouch having OP in 2018. This was after Brad went on radio to say he had OP and I sent an email regarding the weird, shadowy nature of denying injuries that had started to develop under Burton. To his credit he called me up about it, but just kept saying "Brad misspoke" when I pushed him on the OP things and saying things about Burton being a "star".I think time is already well underway to being very unkind to the Fagan era.

Which players had covid? With half our team catching covid only a month ago, it's likely many are still a little lethargic.

About a month later Crouch was having surgery and out for the season.
We played Sloane more forward in the 2nd quarter from what I recall. Just need to do that for 2/3 of the game at a minimum more. That will doubly go when Laird is back because Schoenberg cannot under any circumstances be the midfielder who sees his midfield time lightened because there's another mouth to feed.
Hey I just had a chat to my 1 year old nephew and he told me that the Fagan era was actually really good and I shouldn't sweat the small stuff.
Did you watch the 2nd half ?? Improved out of sight like everyone elseYeah, we need him for….. what does he do?
I don't know the full list but it included Sloane & Dawson.Which players had covid?
Oww, double question mark… can’t argue with thatDid you watch the 2nd half ?? Improved out of sight like everyone else

Have a look who missed our 1st trial against the Lions as it was at that time.
I had the same conversation. Did he share that it was Leppitsch fault for Brisbanes high injury count and that’s why Burton wanted out?I was done with him the moment he straight up lied to me about Crouch having OP in 2018. So I got to speak to Brayden after the game, ask how far of he was and he said in a few more weeks once his fitness is back up. Wonder if he got knocked around by covid.

In Burgess we trust, if in doubt I'm going with Burgo.Nice info, thanks for sharing.
It does seem strange he only played a half of footy if he is needing to improve his fitness though ?
After watching the 5 part series that the Demons put out about their 1st preseason with Burgo I came away with him liking to push a player as hard as they can for as long as they can handle.Nice info, thanks for sharing.

Perhaps with Cook he was given a "Give me a half, at 100%, but don't hold anything back" Strategy, and they'll build on extending that over the coming month.
This is a terrible take. What I'd like to see,
I've said it soooo many times, but Himmelberg is just the answer for us. Time to see what McAsey can do up forward. I think sloane's appeal gets him off, it didn't look real bad, but if he goes out I think Pedlar is a good swap. Sholl was pretty good, should come in and positionally works in a bit of a shuffle for McPherson.
Out : Himmelberg(omit), sloane (susp)*, mcpherson (inj).
IN: McAsey, Pedlar, Sholl
(Gollant come in to be sub)
*may be overturned, if so - likely Pedlar waits another week.
Got my answer in the end, thanks.Oww, double question mark… can’t argue with that
You do realise McAsey has been training with the defenders again this pre-season, played in defence in SANFL trial game on the weekend and in all the match sims apparently....It looks like the McAsey forward experiment has rightly been binned. What I'd like to see,

Or, if we want a forward we could just pick the bloke who kicked a bag full on the weekend??You do realise McAsey has been training with the defenders again this pre-season, played in defence in SANFL trial game on the weekend and in all the match sims apparently....It looks like the McAsey forward experiment has rightly been binned.
If we wanted to go left field (we won't) Worrell is the better option anyway, far more athletic, quicker and way more X factor.
Luke Pedlar?Or, if we want a forward we could just pick the bloke who kicked a bag full on the weekend??
Both!Luke Pedlar?
