No we weren't, it wasn’t until the 17th minute mark they got 2 goals up, so nah.We were being belted from the start of the game, so yeah.
Yeah. I’m starting to worry that either there hasn’t been a culture shift at all, and/or the board has just selected clones of the previous regime.I might be looking too deep in to it, but the "tail wagging the dog" syndrome that I thought was going away appears to still be there.
We were getting belted around the ball, it was sheer luck we held on as long as we did.No we weren't, it wasn’t until the 17th minute mark they got 2 goals up, so nah.
If it was coach inspired, we need a new coaching panel. If it was player inspired we need a different mix of players. The players don't create a game plan, thats on the coaches
1.5 - 5.3, 6 scoring shots to 8. That’s not a belting and you’re adapting your story to back the coaches in.We were getting belted around the ball, it was sheer luck we held on as long as we did.
So yeah
That's either a crazy selection or a "Blight" manoeuvre. It won't happen anyway but it would be interestingLet's try something? How about...
B Laird - Frampton - Doedee
HB Jones - McAsey - Smith
C Dawson - Schoenberg - Sholl
HF McHenry - Butts - Rowe
F Sloane - Murray - Gollant
R Himmelberg - Rachele - Pedlar
I Cook - Hinge - Hately - Keays
Im not 'backing them in'.1.5 - 5.3, 6 scoring shots to 8. That’s not a belting and you’re adapting your story to back the coaches in.

Burns just said this though about SloaneEvery player wants to play every week, so yes it's all about the selectors not picking them.
And your having one of those nights where you come off as a condescending hypocrite.Im not 'backing them in'.
Both players and coaches need to take their share of the blame. You're just having one of those nights where you wanna argue.
If he puts his hand up to play with a broken leg, is it still up to Sloane ?Burns just said this though about Sloane
"It depends. Will he put his hand up to play? If it's yes, he'll play".
So it's not about the selectors picking him, he is saying it is up to Sloane
Time for a name change me thinksAnd your having one of those nights where you come off as a condescending hypocrite.
You replied to my original post, I don’t agree with your point, you keep replying and yet it’s me who is having one of those nights that wants to argue? You could stop replying at any time.

I'd say it's a mixed bag. There appears to have been an improvement in player happiness and player retention. The selection policies haven't changed at all though. Like Pyke's regime, Nicks and co are as conservative as they can possibly be and just covering their own arses. It's naked self interest.Yeah. Doubtful. I'm probably the most cynical bastard on this forum and I'm not turning on Burgo.Wont be long before people start turning on Burgo

Sounded like he's a chance but to be honest I'd bring Berry in before him on the proviso he will see a reasonable amount of midfield minutes.
From the sound of it it's going to perhaps hinge on Sloane putting his hand up, Laird it sounded like is a given in.

Knew you liked your gameshows...probably leave work early so you can be home for 5.30Doubtful. I'm probably the most cynical bastard on this forum and I'm not turning on Burgo.
Think your right. Maybe we are expecting too much from this young team. It sure is frustrating to watch thoughWe are not unlike what GWS and Gold Coast were in 2011/2012 (without the help of lots of high draft picks). We will get there eventually.
Also not enough experience in the forward line...but we wouldn't put Sloane up there would we!Burns asked if Sloane not at full fitness is better than playing a younger player at full fitness.
"It depends. Will he put his hand up to play? If it's yes, he'll play".
Ugh.
