Not throwing it up as a change, but what are peoples thoughts on Tex? Could be just me, but he seems out of sorts for someone who did a full preseason.

On H8416 using BigFooty.com mobile app
Tex needs to do a bit more. Needs to take a few more marks. When he gets the ball his disposa is very good, just needs to get more of it.

Out: Gallucci
In: Jones

Matt Crouch probably misses 0-2 weeks, Whitfield had something similar and missed 2.
Whitfield missed this week with a hip/groin not the original cork.

I’d expect crouch to play.
For every example of a player missing with a cork I give you 10 who do

While tex didn’t impact the game for 12ims he was probably the best Key forward on the ground on a slippery scrappy night not made for hey forwards. His palm down to lunch in the last, Left foot pass in the 1st, his own goals were all key plays.

Not his best night but overall impacted the game

Out: Gallucci, Knight
In: Jones, McHenry

Gibbs to earn his spot in the 2s.

EH comfortably ahead of JJ now. We are so much better having a guy that can bring the ball to the ground and gives us a chance to set up/lock it in.

Seeds shouldn’t be rushed back. He is too important. Managed time in the SANFL and then back the next week.

Seeds and Douglas into SANFL this week. Jacobs back the week after with Milera. Only Milera straight in for mine. Makes a very strong SANFL side against Port this week

SANFl - In Seedsman, Douglas, MacPherson
Out - Johnson, Hutcheson Brown

F Stengle Jenkins Strachan
HF Macadam Fogarty Wright
C McHenry Douglas Seedsman
HB Macpherson Otten Sholl
B Hamil Butts Davis
R Hunter Wilson Jones
Inter Boyle, Latchford,Merret

AFL - Unchanged

Eddie needs to be managed to get through this year and next.

We aren't as reliant now IMO, particularly if Murphy maintains form

Next year is looking a very long way away for Eddie. We’ve got better options in the 2’s right now. A very unpleasant call may need to be made quite soon if he can’t recapture some form.

Brisbane's a long trip, Eddie is the oldest bloke on our list, we need to manage him to get him through the year, so I think it's a good time to rest him.
What playing Eddie does is it takes out an opposition defender. No club would let Eddie run around uncontrolled. He still has value. I would love to see him fix his set shot kicking.
