So it's gunna be raining on Saturday night down there?? If so, are we more of a chance, or less? I would have thought more, only cause it will be scrappy and hard for either side to really break clear. Haven't seen much of the cats this year, will there game style be helped or hindered by wet weather?

geelong are happy as a pigs in s*** playing in the mud at kardinia park.
plus our very weakened midfield against selwood, SJ, bartel. too strong inside.
and our goal sneak in lecras means we lose 2-3 goals which he'd be good for.

good thing is that even with our whole side in we'd still have to play out of our skin to beat geelong at home, so maybe a good round to experiment.

my concerns are more the injuries and niggles over the next 3 weeks and who steps up

If its raining we need to drop a ruck and maybe even one of our 4 tall Defenders for runners because the heavy ground will kill us with such a tall team

I can see hill , wellers , hutch , sheed and butler all in maybe even The honey badger in for a tagging role if selwood doesn't play.

McGinnity in sloppy wet contested game is right up his ally . His slap it on the boot just getting it forward kicking not such a big liability and if he got a couple of weeks for taking out Stevie J I'm all for it

His kicking is worse than Priddis', has been really terrible at EP of late.

Agreed. Except for tunners. He hasn't been playing apart from one game where he had his nose broken in the first half and didnt return to the field

Except Tunners could play as the Sub. He's broken a nose so he wouldn't have lost much fitness.

B: Bennell - Mackenzie - Glass
HB: Sheppard - Brown - Yeo
C: Gaff - Priddis - Rosa
HF: Sheed - Darling - Ellis
F: Cripps - Kennedy - Cox

C: Naitanui - S.Selwood* - Wellingham

Int: Butler - Hutchings - Colledge
Sub: Tunbridge

Out: Masten, Sinclair, Shuey, Schofield, LeCras

In: Sheed, Hutchings, Wellingham, Butler, Tunbridge

Butler/ Colledge/ Schofield is the iffy one.

We should try not to so we can preserve percentage. I have a feeling we'll need it to make the finals come the end of the year.

So go for the win. Best way to preserve percentage.

Hill hasn't earned the in, and with the wet weather you'll want as many in & under hard nuts everywhere.
The way Simpson was talking in the press conference I reckon you can pretty much lock Hill in

it will be close, both teams have multiple key players missing and there is a lot of 50 gamers at the moment. Geelong hasn't been playing high quality footy but they are managing to overcome the opposition in 4 tough and sluggish quarters of footy. If it does remain greasy and wet, I think it suits Geelong because they basically played in similar conditions 2 of the last 3 matches and Johnson, Bartel Stokes and Caddy really enjoy playing that kind of footy.

Should be closer than the 4 goal line expected, reckon it comes down to the final 10-15 minutes of the game.
We'll need to kick the first few goals at the start of the game for this to happen
