No way do we drop Worrell

It's very likely we do. We been put in this situation twice before this year (McHenry and Parnell) and both times we dropped the kid who played well but wasn't best 22.

This week we genuinely find out if Worrell is.

Hinge is 100% an automatic selection for two reasons: you aren't leaving a genuine two-way defender in the SANFL in an era where rebounding from D50 is king, and it sets an awful precedent that you can lose your spot for putting your body on the line. That one is club killing, as to win big matches, you need lads who are willing to sacrifice their safety and that only occurs if they're not going to be internally punished for it.
He's a real two way player.

Someone who can actually defend AND tackle, but also be damaging with his possessions, not just kick to a contest.

Radio said cramp or light strain
He was smiling on the bench. Didn't look distraught as you might expect if he'd torn it again.

Really rate GC at the moment. I’m also very concerned that we won’t be acclimatised to the conditions, where as they will be. Most likely 30 degrees and humid at first bounce. Let’s hope the club started thinking about this before this week. GC with a clear advantage here. My brain says we lose this one.

Agree with the general view Sloan will be rested, don’t agree with it but think that’s the way we’ll go. Smith and Hinge to come in. Contrary to my post on another thread, I now expect it to be on the humid side so could become a tad dewy. Probably around 26 degrees at the start of the game.
