Out: Hinge, Walker, Parnell

In: Edwards/Hamill, Dowling/Taylor, Gollant

Wouldn't drop Laird, but he'd have way less midfield time next week. Can stay forward or back.

Thin ice: Smith, Rachele, McHenry, Keays

Laird should be dropped, but he won't. Senior players are never held to account by Nicks.
He's still easily best 22, but time for the ypungsters to take over the centre bounces. Soligo, Rankine, Berry, Crouch, Pedlar, Rachele, Edwards, Dowling should all be there first.

Berry can remain sub

Half a dozen very lucky
Like the Ryan call. Looked good in early matches.

Playing at Marvel against a top 4 contender, and playing for Nicks' coaching career? Not sure if the changes matter. Would love to see a debutante or two but I fear it'll get ugly and don't think first gamers deserve that level of massive psychological damage. I'm leaning into accelerationism here - back the boys in and charge headlong into an 0-10 record.

Is Parnell just too small for AFL? He's supposed to be a good kick, but I don't think it's elite enough to cover for all the other deficiencies.

He's a midget, you can't expect to be that size unless you are absolutely elite with pace and skills. He isn't.

Out:
McHenry (can we delist someone mid-season?)
Parnell (played his last afl game tonight)
Jones (if his first 4 weeks is considered acceptable, then we deserve to go 0-23)
Berry (cannot be in the same side as Crouch and Laird, and as bad as Laird has been, Berry is worse)

In:
Ryan
Curtin
Taylor
Dowling

Sub:
Hinge

Thought Rachele added some spark in the last. I think people go too hard on him. Imagine playing as a small HF under Nicks… not easy.

Tex looked better tonight but I’d rest him for next week. Bring Gollant in, he’s a good contested mark and get Fog to play up a little further.

Hinge needs to go back to SANFL and only comes back when he can stop turning it over. Parnell is too small, and Ned isn’t good enough.

Overall the game plan is trash and so is selection. That is on the coach.

Out: "honourable" losing margins
In: 200+ point beltings that forces the pinheads driving this clown-cart of a football club to banish Nicks to the shadow-realm
That's where I'm at. Remove Nicks immediately, appoint a caretaker and tell them to play the kids. Then flush out all the turds in our recruiting department. No point taking them to the next draft.

We looked less shit tonight than the rest of the season. Reckon thats because of a better mix of players, and Crouch having slightly less midfield time for Soligo. In other words, drop Laird or Crouch and our midfield mix looks better. As everyone has been saying...

Out:
Laird/Crouch
Parnell

In:
Berry
Dowling

McHenry to Sub

Will need more speed at Marvel. Would consider Hamill

Carlton under the roof, could get ugly if our skills are as bad as the games so far.

Not sure it's the game to bring in debutants but Parnell and McHenry are delists so try anybody else for this game and the remainder of the year.

Can we please try something different for CBA's = for the whole match! I'd kill for a centre combo like the Dees or Swans

Another team nicks won't pick

Max Butts Worrell
Curtin Keane Nank
Hinge Soligo Dowling
Pedlar Walker Rachele
Laird Fogarty Burgess

ROB Dawson Rankine

Cook Edwards Taylor Crouch

In
Edwards Taylor Dowling Pedlar Curtin

Out
McHenry Parnell Smith Keays Jones

I would debate anyone that says the ins don't make us a stronger team. Put Murray and Thilthorpe in that team and a good coach would get them to top 8.
