Ol' Libation Vs Lubrication error, eh?!I just want to allay anyone's fears about 'Lubrication along the way being required' was in the form of beer rather than anything else. Whilst we enjoyed each others company, it wasn't that much. hahaha
Geez this description screams Pie Man and West Coast.
And we do love our Morrish Medalists. A half back with midfield potential
Morrish tie as Devil and Stingray pip top draft fancies
Lachlan Cowan and Taj Campbell-Farrell take Boys League best and fairest ahead of draft fancies Will Ashcroft and Bailey Humphreywww.afl.com.au
Cowan is one of the most fun players in the draft with his flowing mullet and elite pace off half-back. He takes the game on at every opportunity and is accurate by foot with the whole ground in front of him. There have also been some exciting moments as he’s moved into the engine room at times, showing scope for a possible move in the future.

The draft argument makes sense. You just have to look at the 2017 draft vs the 2018 draft. Sure the top 0f 2018 was better, but the quality of players goes much deeper in 2017 than 2018. Arguable though whether projecting how the 17yo cohort develops has much science/accuracy to it.To put it into simple terms if you were comparing drafts. Think of this years top 10 like the 2007 draft and think of next years top 10 like the 2008 draft.
We are almost certain to end up with another top 3 pick next year in a hugely stronger draft. If we can maximise the use of this draft pick because someone is willing to pay overs for it, then it is what you do.
To me paying overs is not a 3-4 place drop + an early second rounder in this draft. I would want more than that.
The other side of it is - who would trade up?!
I have a weird imagination. Very first thing I visualised was you tattooing Humphrey B Bear on the old fella and posting at the same time on forum.Apologies I was. I was writing on Humphrey elsewhere at the time.
If he has a big game in the Metro v Country clash I see no reason he couldn't leapfrog a lot of the bigger names being touted.

I don't see him sliding outside the top 30. I'm not saying we should definitely take him, just that we should consider him alongside the likes of Jakob Ryan and Sam Gilbey. Where do you rate those 2? I think Gilbey could slide all the way to our 3rd rounder because of his leg injury.
Looks good when he wins the ball, so that's probably why. He's a good player, but decision making/kicking isn't good enough. Very Duggan likeHow did he tie for the Morrish Medal if he can't kick? That seems just weird TBH.
The mullet was just too irresistible?
Geez, what the heck has Fagan been doing playing Berry on a wing...Nice one briztoon
Shame he won't be playing next week. Loved him and Oliver going at itGeez, what the * has Fagan been doing playing Berry on a wing...
Goes into the guts and turns the game.
If only we drafted Berry...

Duggan>Cowan Those hating on Duggan are flat out wrong.Lol. Happy to have another Duggan at pick 20ish thanks.
People who are negative about Duggan dont see the good things he does. Or take into factor how bad our mids and forward up the ground have been.
In a balanced side Duggan plays better than most.
I don't hate Duggan, my point is more if Duggan made better decisions and was a better kick he'd be a gun. Same for Cowan.Lol. Happy to have another Duggan at pick 20ish thanks.

Soft tissue injuries are a whole different matter.Agree it's a risk. I'd like the club to have enough faith in themselves to get his body right though. There's been plenty of times mids have had injuries in there draft years and had great careers. Judd's shoulder injury which we fortunate enough to benefit from and Selwood's knee injury which saw him slide to the Cats comes to mind.
Because his shoulders are buggered. Zorko even mentioned it in his interview. Can’t take the constant beating inside.Geez, what the * has Fagan been doing playing Berry on a wing...

Duggans best and worst are so far apart. When he is fit he looks elite but then he gets injured and then struggles to find that touch back.Duggan>Cowan Those hating on Duggan are flat out wrong.

Shame for you guys, as he looked seriously good in there.Because his shoulders are buggered. Zorko even mentioned it in his interview. Can’t take the constant beating inside.
Sandy easily beat Gippsland in prelim.
Humphrey quiet with 14.
Charlie Clarke, massive favourite of mine kicked 3 and had 19.
Mackenzie 22
Sheezel 2.3 with 15
