If Tivendale was given the gasper chat he might develop a L.T.I. ?

Jumpin Jimmy can you give us a review on some of the players?

JON: His rebounding was responsible for the first clutch of goals and JR singled him out for special mention at quarter time. He consistently rebounded all day and drifted forward to have a few shots on goal.

Rance: This bloke is classy and adventurous. Along with JON ran off his opponent all day.

Collard: Looked fitter than I have ever seen him. Screams FP specialist.

Daniel Conners: As per Collard re fitness. Played well without being amongst the best.

they are so similar aren't they? fitness, discipline, attitude. good to hear they have got at least one of these in check.

Putt: Has an impressive frame , good hands and athletic ability. Needs to work on his kicking.

Clever and Jack: This is our future. Both seemed to have a great understanding of each others positioning and movements. Jack was his usual effervescent self and it seemed to rub off onto Cleve.

Morton: Took a while to get going but improved as the day progressed, was just outside the best at days end

Any more??

How were Rance and Cartlege?

Who do you think will come in next week?
Cartedge was servicable but Gus shone. To tell you the truth, Rance IMO will be an AA one day but I think we should allow him a few more weeks at Coburg (he was only recently elevated to the 1sts) to build his confidence. But I'll tell you one thing he has a hungry look in his eye;)

My Tip:

Out: Thursty and Tivvers .

In: Rance (even though I think its premature) and Collins.

And this: Tivvers to get a Gasper chat and Collard to be promoted in the next couple of weeks.

The eye of the tiger.:p

The question is, is JON a Tivendale clone, can he only play great footy at the 2nd level..

Hopefully he comes back in and shows us what he's got. :thumbsu:
I was surprised by JON today. His reaction time was quicker and his kicking more precise, could be a confidence thing and he has routinely been amongst the best this year.

This is great to hear. Two forwards, 9 goals between them. It's great that they work so well together. I suppose they will have played alot of Coburg together and that may transfer straight into the ones.

Whoever put Howat in the Best is a flipping goose!!! In a game when other mids were throwing themselves in headlong all day I didn't see him have one HBGet.

I don't think anybody misses howat he might be delisted at the end of the year.

would like to see that happening for sure....if the club has half a brain they'd certainly have to do that....(although..in order to promote collard, tivers would have to go on the long term injury list instead of retire as gasper did......if he loves the club..he ought to be willing to do that..)
