Except they still think they can win it next year mids develop quicker talls take years

Except what?

I dont see any 18 year old helping us out much next season, only top 3 picks consistently impact in their 1st season and yes, mids not talls.

If we get close next season it wont be off an 18 year old getting drafted.

Amiss worries me cause he seems more like a third tall than a genuine KPF they way he plays. That said JK as forward didn't become a complete all round forward with 2014/15 in his late 20's (however, Jk's other parts of his game was still decent at that stage).
Yeah, hopefully our recruiters give him a miss.

I think Erasmus plays like Le Cras, hard running half forward that's good overhead. Although his goal kicking is poor compared to Lecca. Erasmus could play off a wing.

MJ is inside midfield class, finds space in heavy traffic and has great disposal. Also spreads hard from the contest to be the next option in play, when he gets it on the outside he doesn't waste it.

We need both types of midfielder, but if we wanted an outside player I'd rather Wanganeen-Milera over Erasmus. That said, I'd rather Inside class so MJ please.

That’s why we should go young mids early, mature body later (Bailey Rogers / Greg Clarke) who can fill a role immediately why still having the future covered.

I'm actually low key excited about SPS coming over now.

Not sure how the hell that happened.

Me too, bloody highlight videos.

I haven't been this excited about an underperforming Carlton first round pick since Kane Lucas. And I'm pretty sure that guy won a Brownlow. Skies the limit!

Anyone else quietly hoping that, for whatever reason, Brander ends up an Eagle again next year or am I the only one?
I feel the same, mainly because I think there's a footballer in there worth a hell of a lot more than we'll get on the trade table for him.

Player comparison/style from limited footage I've seen. (Players we might have a shot at drafting)
*Basically who they remind me of..Some probably miles off ;)

MJ - Mundy (esq)
JVR - Naughton (esq)
Sheldrick - Prestia (esq)
Erasmus - Fyfe (esq) (Moves like him, kicks like him. Hard to find a lot of footage)
Draper - Butters (esq)
Goater - Yeo (esq) - Not a lot of footage to work with here.

Are they all esquires?

Is Clarke a crash and bash style of inside mid or is he like a redden like inside mid that that has split contested/uncontested possession rate? Personally don’t mind a a pure inside mid that allows us to use Yeo to use his legs speed, kicking and marking power on the outside more often.

if a player signs a 4 year deal for 2 million @500K per year.
and it's decided to frontload first 2 years @750k and last 2 @250k.
if player askes to be traded after 2 years does he have to give club back 500k?
