He personally took responsibility for it by putting his signature on it. A inquiry isnt needed when you personally own the situation

Dodgy Dan still saying I dont know despite the fact the inquiry has said he is open to answer the questions is nothing better or nothing more then witholding evidence which is supposed to be a punishable crime

I dont understand why Victoria thinks it can be moved forward, when a anchor like Dan is pushing the agenda.

It would be really interesting to know what dog you have in this fight

The government and media won't even tell us the truth about the two blokes at the hotel that violated social distancing up in the room (security guard and returned traveller). No-one is touching that, so they aren't about to question the 10,000 person BLM gathering.
Why so surprised? This comes from a state where a footballer can be stabbed, and the general public are chastised for asking how it happened.

Can I suggest to anybody wishing to protest for any cause that they do so at an AFL or NRL match. Apparently those environments are magical fantasy places where immunity is assured, despite sitting in the one spot amongst tens of thousands of others for a few hours without need of masks or seriously enforced social distancing. Take your placards and banners to the footy, I say.

Just don't walk through the open air streets with masks on - you will incur the wrath of anyone who thinks your cause might not be for them, or read somewhere on Facebook or BigFooty that it causes other people to leave their homes unnecessarily.
Unless of course the fans take a knee....

Theyve come a long way from truckloads of manure

Now nothing but the finest npk gets delivered to punt road

Richmond - top 4.
Not bad for a club that can't win away from the MCG, in a season where there are no games being played there.

Last year richmond made big strides in winning away from home.

of course interstate teams that cant win away from home dont play finals and wont win away finals and cant win grand finals....

Every state government around the country said it wasn't a good idea.
It was only in Victoria the quarantine was a complete failure, and it was this that lead us into stage 4 now.
It's two completely separate issues.

There are no separate issues.

You can fix the quarantine, but that won't stop the virus now. The main problem , that people too many people aren't giving a shit is now "the issue".
BLM helped foster that attitude.

Bollocks.
Dumbest argument ever. Can you name one person that has taken their cue from the fact there was a protest.

The very fact so many people agree it was stupid shows that it isn't going to be used by people as a 'how to ' guide for coronavirus response.

I could argue the exact opposite in fact. The widely condemned BLM protest has entrenched the view that such behaviour is unwise.

451 today. It's possible we are seeing some early effects of stage 4. That's two consecutive days of the 7 day average shrinking, which isn't a lot but something we haven't seen for months.

We didn't see any dips in this from June 24 to July 24, and since then we've seen 4. These are outliers but they are becoming less severe.

I'm not sure the modelling in the Australian which projected a peak of 1100 new cases in about a week's time. Maybe a daily total will be that high but as far as a 7 day average is concerned, this time next week I doubt we'll be much higher than 700 per day. The growth rate has hovered pretty stubbornly at a bit below 5% per day, hard to see that going up in a hurry.

Here's hoping it carries through, everyone of course is hoping that the restrictions don't have to be tightened even further.

Early days shows people are actually mostly following the rules, it's a shame it had to get to this level though before people started taking it seriously. I have confidence that level 4 for 6 weeks should squash the outbreak enough to start winding up again in October.

President Xi Andrews shutting down protests against himself with force....

That's a new one.

Top 5 nicknames for Dan Andrews
1. Dirty
2. Dictator
3. Comrade
4. President Xi
5. Commie

Just edges Loopy out of the top 5 imo for the political undertones. Such biting political satire.
