**** that has really mad me sadder than I expected to be with Melk. Im bloody shattered for him. Melk and Nathan Jones great mates, hopefully the same result in the finals but sucks so much that they both missed out.

Shattered for Melk if it really is an ACL, his highlights package with us will be on repeat though, provided many happy moments as a Dee, kicked the sealer to break our finals drought in 2018 too.

Good: Does this mean Schache gets a final? (gotta be a better option than Tom.)

I only listened to the first half and watched the second and while his kicking was his usual average I thought Brayshaw cracked in super hard and his physicality lifted the team.

Was hitting the ball in straight lines and winning contests. Looked like 21 form for me. I'm not his biggest fan but liked what I saw. Was a factor in the team monstering Sydney around the ball in the last

Absolutely devastating to be honest. I've admired him this year purely of how hard he's worked and the influence he's had on our forward line.

Footy is bloody cruel because he deserves to finish his career on a high note and that would be by winning a flag.

I'd offer him a one year deal imo.

Melksham is the kind of bloke I want to keep around the club post retirement. Culturally a really valuable person to have. I gained a lot of respect for him when he gave May a touch up when he got lippy.

Haven’t caught up with the game but a pretty bad loss if Melksham is gone. Has played a solid defensive role on Andrews, Moore, Sicily types and can’t think of a ready replacement that’s dangerous enough and can do that.

The typical footy experience at the SCG is crowd talking amongst themselves about anything but footy for 3 quarters then cheer in the last quarter if they're winning or go home if it looks like they won't.

Schache has shown absolutely no signs of being up to AFL standard (either with us or anywhere else). We need someone who is going to compete and get the ball to ground at a minimum. If TMac is fit, he has to play. Schache would be my third choice behind BBB. He might not have many tricks, but Benny will work up and get to contests, Schache won't get enough (any?) respect from the Pies defenders and will allow Moore/Murphy/Howe to be third man up against JVR.

I've only been to a Swans home game once but you could not have summed up my experience more succinctly. People near me were insufferable and literally paid no attention to the game, then it's like a switch was flicked and they cheered loudly for the last quarter.

How ****ing good is Bailey Fritsch? Walks into the side after a shit load of time out and is immediately our best player again. Might never be an AA but he's easily in the best 6 forwards in the comp imo

Started off OK, but got exposed a bit as the game went on. Would rather Tomlinson, personally, but the club seems determined to play anybody else, so wouldn't be too surprised if he held his spot.

Unlikely. Not a bad game per se, but would rather Tomo or Hibberd in for him, depending on matchups
