If Caro is right and you have knocked back 6&24 for 4, it could be because you’ve already committed 24? Something like:

Crows out 8,13 and next years first, maybe in range of 10-16.

Effectively pick 2 for 8,13 & a decent pick upgrade. Plus you owe us for that needless 4th rd pick swap that got you Hombsch.

Isn’t the rule that you need to use 2 first round picks over a rolling 4 year period? So technically if we use 2 this year we could trade out our first round pick both next year and 2020 provided we keep our ‘21 & ‘22 1st rounders?

Wasn’t there a GWS academy kid that Essendon put a bid on and GWS chose not to match. IIRC the kid was from Broken Hill. The name escapes me at the moment but I think it start with M.??

Don’t mind that at all. Pace, midfield depth, bit of in your face niggle. Yah I dig it. Especially like the O’Halloran pick that later. Love Caldwell and am a fan of Butters. Just seems like a great personality.

It’s happened plenty of times kangas did it back to back with Watson and Williams - 2 QLD kids Brisbane and GC that weren’t matched

The GWS kid was Isaac Cumming ?

Sorry that doesn’t make sense. If anything this year there is more incentive for us to trade up and more for GC to trade down. Therefore we are more likely to offer overs and GC are more likely to accept unders, or at least a fair deal.

If our supporters think 8, 13 and next years 1st is worth more than pick 3, then you can be sure that GC would feel the same and jump at it. This is how all trading through history has worked.
