Clearly hit in the face, and was on the ground holding his checks notes face. How was that fake again?Academy award winning stuff from Oodegard. This trying to stop the game from fake head injuries needs to be stopped.

Where was the outrage earlier when the Ipswich player wasn't hit in the head and was on the ground and had play stopped for a head injury?
Looked to me at the time that he was ahead of the ball and in an offside position. But only saw it the once.
Except the replay clearly showed hand to face. And he didn't go down faking a concussion to stop play. He went to ground after getting backhanded. No different to when the Ipswich player went to ground after an accidental hit to the throat from Havertz. Or was he faking too?He got a little tap in the chest by a flailing hand. I would expect better of Ødegaard.
The concussion protocols were designed to protect player's well-being. There should be post-match reviews and bans for players faking head injuries.
He's ahead of the ball and the defender though? Has nothing to do with Salah's right leg.View attachment 2194441
Looks like a ****up to me. Salah's right leg seems to be ahead of Nunez and the VAR operator seems to have drawn the line on the defender, not on Salah.
Can't remember if Nunez touched the ball either, I thought the cross went behind him.
Nunez is ahead of the ball. Salahs leg is irrelevant.View attachment 2194441

Isn’t it measured from where Salah makes contact with the ball ie his left foot or from the second last defender, whichever is closer to the goal line?View attachment 2194441

These last few posts have really made me doubt my understanding of the rules, which I thought I had a solid grasp ofIsn’t it measured from where Salah makes contact with the ball ie his left foot or from the second last defender, whichever is closer to the goal line?
Nunez also made a play at the ball.
Ball was passed forward.View attachment 2194441

Everton have already been doing God's work by taking points of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City. If Dyche rolls out the red carpet for Liverpool when they play, he can have a statue outside Anfield. If there is a god, Liverpool will have a poor spell and then ultimately lose the league at Goodison (Again).
Hasn't your club won 6 of the last 7 titles?league title over at christmas. how boring
To be fair a "new manager bounce" is the last thing united needs. That new manager bounce hasnt really worked for United has it.
That's three losses in a row and Amorims record since coming in is 4W 1D 5L and two of those 4 wins were against Viktoria Plzen and Bodo/Glimt.
You love to see it.
Yeah you’ve got it right, that’s what I was clumsily saying re the Salah left foot contact on the ball rather than the right foot closer to the goal. These last few posts have really made me doubt my understanding of the rules, which I thought I had a solid grasp of
My understanding has always been you must be in line or behind the ball (assuming there is no defender playing you on). It has nothing to do with where the teammate who is playing you the ball is standing but where the ball is.
Nunez is clearly ahead of the ball and just ahead of the defender, therefore is correctly flagged for offside. Regardless of him not making contact with the ball, it is reasonable to determine he is making a play for the ball (either trying to directly play it or dummy it, with Nunez you can never know). The decision is fine IMO.

Amorim proving all the players are duds is the best thing that could happen for them.
Or are they proving he is a dud because they're doing worse under him than EtH?Bang on.
