dudes, relax. We are going to roll these sillys up and smoke them, then eat a pack of twisties
You had to say twisties, didn't you? (Nothing against them, I dislocated my finger about a month ago and it resembled a twisty)

Did I read somewhere Zaka is playing VFL this weekend for more match fitness?
I heard he was too. Think Kong posted something in zaka's thread

Sylvia will the play the game of his life.
Nah, my X-Factor for the opponent has had a negative effect so far this season

*I refuse to call it by it's new name, it wall always be the Dome

Just saying

I reckon we should do alright against Melbourne, though it is hard to judge without seeing them play first. Their midfield won't be much chop IMO, unless Toumpas and Viney turn out to be Melbourne's version of Barlow and Heppell (with regards to bursting straight onto the scene in a big way). Carlisle should be a good match up for Clark I think, though the Dawes matchup might be tough. Wouldn't surprise to see Hardingham come in, just to provide a jumping 3rd man option, as I think Dawes has it over all our defenders in the strength stakes. Will be interested to see who Hocking runs with. There is no stand out IMO, so he may go to Sylvia or Trengove. I think he might actually rotate against both of them at times. Sylvia is a player who can rest forward when needed, so when this happens, Hocking might rotate onto Trengove, as I think Sylvia would exploit HOcking playing one out in the forward line.

Sean Gregory.

I'd back Gleeson against Dawes.

I think everyone is forgetting how good Dawes can be. Think back to 2011 and 2010 and how good he was. Also worth noting that his averages rise against Essendon. Dawes and Clark will be a very good forward combo, and will be tough to deal with. With a good midfield, they will cause a huge amount of trouble. Even with the midfield now, they will still be giving teams headaches.

He kicked 27 and 30 goals in 2010 and 2011. Nothing special.

Haha, Imagine what Crameri would have done in such a dominant Collingwood outfit?

He'll be lucky to kick 18 this year.
