Touche. We have a young and decent list. That **** we don't have an ageing list that should be contending.

The frustrated fans will be back, I'll wager waywardsonson will return once we get more W’s.

Unfortunately Pearce is your old school full back who has the turning circle of the Titanic and really only knows how to run in straight lines. Hamling is a bit the same whereas the modern full back is like Wilkie, Grimes, Broad, Stewart, etc who are very mobile.

Who should we get as coach then, JL was and still is highly regarded by many people over East. Would we have gambled on someone like Fly?

The forward line IS shite, but we have coaching issues too. Not with the forwards but further up the ground. Our midfield and defence where we build all our attacks has been worked out and is being totally stifled. Now we're trying to fix it on the run but it looks like the player group has lost all confidence after what they thought was a strong preseason. In reality, we were ill prepared. We were blindsided.
 
Any thoughts with a lot of our players 23 and under and still very immature mentally that they got a little bit ahead of themselves which was helped by all the pre season internal talk expecting us to get top 4 no worries and now the reality has hit and they have lost faith and trust in themselves, their teammates and game plan. Also maybe it was exacerbated by the look of the so called "easy draw" in the first 5 rounds and the expectation we only had to show up to get the points. Can't really find any other explanation behind so many players fumbling, taking the wrong option and missing easy targets and besides 2 or 3 so many players regressing from last year.
 
Dont think there in anything wrong with Henrys work rate he seems to be working as hard as anyone in the midfield I suspect he lacks leg speed unfortunately appears slow at times would like to know how they all go in the running department.
Cant fathom how bad we are looking atm after last seasons promising end.
 
Definitely coaching issues, definitely forward (lack of talent) and mid (lack of size and forward connection) issues. Said a few times but with the age of the list I would be personally completely ok with a down year as a lot of teams have them after making finals for the first time in a rebuild but the fact Melbourne could have a top pick is just blah.

It’s not even a complaint on Jackson, he’s actually having a few shots on goal and starting to look ok, it was just shit trading at the time.

We’ll still figure things out a little bit at some point of the year and get some momentum at some point but they will get like pick 6 or 7 or something stupid as well as everything else

I know you’re joking but the I’m gonna have a mini vent. The sky is falling is all your guys venting which I guess I understand but jeez I wish if even in the dark times that we could have some sanity and level headedness. It’s really hard to come on here reading all this stuff.

We aren’t finishing bottom 3, we won a final last year.

I agree we won't finish bottom 3 but we're playing like a bottom 3 team at present. Who's playing worse? Eagles, Gold Coast - I'd say that's it.

Hawks are not playing well. North without LDU and Sympkin is a different team.

I’d agree we are playing like a bottom team at the moment but it’s a long season, we’ll get on a small run at some point and win one or two we have no right winning

So people can only comment on what's in front of them - we're playing like a bottom 4 team (I'll include the hawks). Seems worth a vent when it is miles from the expectations that the club set itself
 
HF: Walters, Amiss, Frederick
FF: Schultz, Treacy, Sturt

With a fully fit team that should be our forward line going forward, Switkowski to become more of a mid-forward than pure small forward. Jackson stays either on the bench or rotates through the middle. Taberner ****s off down to Peel.

Yeah and I said I get people are venting. Its been a shit start and I get the venting but its been 24 hours and I reserve the right to vent about the venting as is required by BF vent law
