GBU vs Gws

I'm that pissed off that it feels rational to get a spaceship shoot Dmac, Haas, Burton and the useless campaigner Francou into outer space; never to return.

You simply cannot control so much of the third quarter when the game is on the line and simply continue to butcher the footy going forward. Our forward structure is out the window with Tex and Gov out of the side. On top of that spuds that offer absolutely nothing defensively leave us exposed. Mackay, Atkins, Jenkins looking at you. I haven't been one to pile on with the Jenkins hate, but I'm just about there. He couldn't clunk a contested mark if his life depended on it and his effort tonight was putrid. Going at marking contests with one hand is not even SANFL standard. Jake Kelly tonight showed his true colours as well. Simply not good enough. A mid season draft would be really handy right about now, so that we could delist Mackay.

Some good out of tonight, we already knew it, but Gibbs is a star, and it actually means something to him to play for the Crows, and he's been here 6 months. Be good if a few others showed this level of desire. Greenwood's contested work and follow up work was outstanding. He gets better each and every game, his hands are incredible and he's so tough in tight.

Sack Hass and Burton !!

Injuries smingeries, we have too many front runners and collectively melt under pressure with the exception of Laird, Sloane, Crouches and a few others. They were missing Conilgio in the 4th. Plus still have plenty out injured.

After seeing the tackle numbers in the first we were never going to stand up to that sort of game.

I am very happy we lost because its what we need. This group is not winning a premiership. We are a step closer to moving on.
I cant say I am happy that we lost. Not sure how anyone could say that but I do agree that now surely there will be some changes. If there are no moves this week then I feel every supporter will go ape shit and rightly so.

We've been screwed bad by the footy Gods this year. This was the round for us to turn it around, then Lynch out with some rib/abdo injury, and then Douglas out with a poked eye! This injury curse is beyond a joke, and happening to all our main leaders this year! We're playing a team of players underdone/not quite fit/not used to the structures, and it really showed in the last quarter. Endeavour was there but there was no cohesion.

We need no more injuries and some calm assessments, rest/omit a few of the players to make a stand - Sauce/Mackay. And had we kicked straighter...****!!

Milera was wasted up forward in the first half. He can be a gun HBF & was much better when moved down back.

Just means dropping either Mackay or Gibson for Gallucci to play up forward.
Yeah, I found that unusual too... why have Milera up forward when all year he’s played his best footy coming off half back.

Nd at the same time having Mackay as a defender..

Ugly: Season over. Likely finish out of the top 8 from here. Bloody hell, even our 2nd round pick from Carlton doesnt even look that good anymore, since we gave back ours. Melbourne will play in a prelim.

All this comes from the top. Promotion of Burton to a role he is not qualified for. Which he proved on day 1 by bringing in Haas. Re-hiring of Hart even though he was a failure. Keeping Campo and Clarke. This is the end for the Walsh group. A real shame.

Good: I liked Fogarty's game today. Some really good stuff in there.

Of course you want to win but winning today would cover some cracks. Feels like we're back in the Trigg era where we are just begging for key personnel to be sacked and winning does nothing to help it.

No, we have screwed ourselves with the best list.

Idiots!

We had every reason to win that. GWS decimated by injury too, haven't won for a month, can't win away from Sydney, massive free kick advantage, home ground advantage, and still couldn't put in.

Club's going nowhere fast.

Milera at HF, Mackay at HB. Soooo typical of this club it’s this one decision that has just about lost my faith.
Jenkins + Atkins. Useless.
Kelly. Time to go.
Gibson. Strange recruit. Crap.
Betts - fumbles and old age.
Fogarty not quite ready.
Gibbs hack kicks not cutting it.
CEY simply ineffective. Back to SANFL or trade next year.
Brown. Poor.

Put a line through 2018 and start again next year.
Sloane and Tex into surgery (tank).
Trade delist Hampton, Kelly, Otten, Cheney, Gibson, Lynch, Dear, CEY
Get rid of Francou, Clarke, Campo, Hass, Burton
Trade in Francis, Fantasia, Lycett
Do what we need to do to get Rankine + Hately.

Of course none of this will happen but it’s nice to think of a football club with a little bit of common sense.

Milera had to play up forward because they can't play Mackay anywhere other than half back. We knowingly sacrifice total team performance to keep Dmac in the side.
