Not sure if Bews holds his spot. Might be one of those players who comes in to do a job on a specific small forward, but back to the VFL in between. Sounds like he was trashtastic tonight.

The fact that Danger, Stanley and defenders were in our top 7 players explains where we were at tonight. Poor output from the forwards.

Staggered that all season we have been effective with a second big key forward, and yet since we lost Esava we tried Fort, didn't work, and haven't brought in a form player from the VFL in either Buzza or Krueger when thats our biggest issue forward last week and clearly this week.

Do not dare blame the forwards. We never bothered to move the ball quickly to them. Defenders kept stat padding and chip kicking it to each other and then eventually bombed it to a pack on the wing. Gave them no chance. It was pathetic the way the defense used the ball tonight.

Is there something to explain *why* Mitch Duncan's bad games are this embarrassingly awful? He always seems to pull two or three games per season out like this where his skill level inexplicably drops from elite to Auskick standard. It's like he's a completely different player.

Is it psychological? Only thing that comes to mind.

We so need hard ball players
Cocky and Menegola will be welcomed back

Plenty of time to turn it around but our form has been concerning. Most of the things that made this side great have been missing for a while now.

That manic forward pressure is a distant memory. The first quarter 6-0-36 scorelines were never going to be sustainable. Bad habits are resurfacing like terrible i50s and no one waiting down at the foot of contests. We've been relying on bursts to win games instead of 4 quarter efforts, that's the kind of crap that is going to kill us in finals again.

Thought that v Port but little bit more to this, 2 losses in 3. Midfield getting absolutely smashed. Side is out of balance at the moment, need some more ball winners in side. It is being left to too few in midfield.

Menegola, Parfitt and one of Scott Selwood or Constable for Fog, Atkins and O’Connor, things looks a bit better.

Pretty much an 09 type chart id say BP... The port one was more rel to me ..to get rid of the bye thing... what is an issue is ..player out of form ..really have little fear for their position.

At one point it was dogs 1.5 to geelong 3.5.

We were the more accurate team early. If both teams kicked more accurately early on then the dogs win by even more.
