Some good points, but who do you think was worse than Motlop last night?

Parsons, Kolo, Stewart, Parfitt, Murdoch, Harry, Menegola, Henderson, Blicavs, Z Guthrie. Motlop wasn't great - or good - but wasn't awful either.

Motlop wasn't our worst, Guthrie (Cam) was pretty good last night - I assume that's the one you meant.

We just have no depth whatsoever, though - and so we have to expose some pretty raw players at AFL finals level. Let's face it, as good an effort as it is relative to their experience and starting point, Z Guthrie, Parsons and probably Parfitt should have been nowhere near an AFL top four team. We also have a number of players who are competent at AFL level without being genuinely good performers at the level - I'd probably classify Blitz, Kolodjashnij, Bews and Stewart in that category.

I don't think it's any one individual that's the issue (or three) - it's just sheer weight of numbers.

Made his reputation doing that and yet they have refused to play him there for years now and his performance has declined accordingly. And everyone knows we are short of a small, crumbling forward. Hello!!! Another coaching failure. Have people worked out that we are poorly coached yet?!

Agreed. Goals motivate some guys. Playing for your team up the field doesn't.

Just wanted to share sympathy at the fact it was played at the MCG. Most will tell you to harden up but the fact of the matter is we would sook too if the roles were reversed.

Also thought you were cruelled early by injuries to Guthrie, Murdoch, Dangerfield and even Selwood was nowhere near 100%.
