I'm not disagreeing with you. As it won't happen, Gaz asked a question if they offer that would you do it and I would...We're not trading Kelly for 3 second round picks. It's ludicrous.
We get a high pick or it's no deal.

Hawthorn, who won 3 on the trot on the back of bringing in free agents and trading in experience to top up, is getting advice from a club whose best achievement since 2011 is finding out that dwarves are flammable .In case no-one mentioned it, Simon Lethlean of St Kilda gave a negative judgement/criticism of Geelong and Hawthorn's poaching-style draft focus and recommended that both clubs go to the draft in future...
The List Manager for St Kilda has advice for Geelong and Hawthorn...
I would take that, but seems a tiny bit overs.20+22+2019 first for Kelly and 2019 third.
Except if we only have 3 spots on our list ahead of draft night, pick 22 would most likely then be used on Brownless, and he isn't rated as a top 25 pick.I would too. Pick 24 for 20 + 22. Nice pay off for a one year investment.
If we don't take it we're stuffed. Pick 12 then 50!
Can really consolidate on building a new team with 3 picks in the top 25 in a good draft.
Danger, Selwood, Ablett, Duncan, Menegola, now Dollhouse.
How many bloody mids do we need next year.
Unless we truly honestly think we can win a flag next year it would be negligent of the club not to do take it.
Kelly will request a trade again next year if he is not traded before tomorrow’s deadline. This has been explicitly stated by Kelly’s manager on behalf of Kelly. It’s naive to think otherwise.

Geelong is pushing for a single higher pick compared to 2 pretty good picks with a key reason being we are tight on list spots.
2 top 12 picks & pick 50 work out better for us in terms of list spots - we get 2 good players with those first couple of picks and then get Brownless with our last using a pick that is closer to his value
I'd say we'd comfortably get Brownless for 50.Except if we only have 3 spots on our list ahead of draft night, pick 22 would most likely then be used on Brownless, and he isn't rated as a top 25 pick.

So has Bailey Scott fallen off our radar?Except if we only have 3 spots on our list ahead of draft night, pick 22 would most likely then be used on Brownless, and he isn't rated as a top 25 pick.

He chose North last week, prob saved Murdoch in doing soSo has Bailey Scott fallen off our radar?
Maybe he's seen Geelong's dealings with Tim Kelly and thought we're not the destination club people make us out to be.
No you are so right. Let's take as gospel what that guy says. Anything can happen in 12 months. He might feel different. Her parents might move. They might feel more comfortable. It's not like his manager has said anything stupid and appeared to be posturing at all has he...hahahaha but you go with him good plan.
I know that his value has risen. It should now be double what we got him for, that's why 20 & 22 are around the mark.

We wouldn't use Pick 22 on Brownless... No, lol.
Pick 59 and 60 is used for Brownless, there is no chance he will be bid on inside Top 30. We have enough points for bidding up to Pick 43 just using Pick 59 + 60. Otherwise we have Pick 50 in the mix for extra points.
Plenty of decent footballers at Pick 20 and 22 - go look at Chayce Jones, Liam Stocker, Sam Sturt, Bailey Williams, etc etc.
This draft isn't as good as last year IMO for depth, but there is decent players that could turn into Best 22 players for the future.

I was thinking this myself. This is the likely outcome IMO. A compromise of sorts.Pick 20 & 22, next year 2nd round, give Kelly & next year 3rd round?
Would you do it?
One would think that Master Leathlean needs to pay some attention to his own backyard, and given the past year he has had, he might like to recall that old saying about glass houses, etc. Good God the ego on the guy to be lecturing clubs who are successful when he has been in Footy ops for 5 minutes. In case no-one mentioned it, Simon Lethlean of St Kilda gave a negative judgement/criticism of Geelong and Hawthorn's poaching-style draft focus and recommended that both clubs go to the draft in future...

Yeah I've heard Pelchen saying the same thing the last few weeks. Didn't he leave the Hawks for the saints and sell their stars for shit a few years back?In case no-one mentioned it, Simon Lethlean of St Kilda gave a negative judgement/criticism of Geelong and Hawthorn's poaching-style draft focus and recommended that both clubs go to the draft in future...

There's lots of rabbits in China...I wouldn't do it for all the tea in china.

I would however as a compromise, look at 20 and 22 and their 2019 1st round for our 2019 2nd roundI wouldn't do it for all the tea in china.
