Stocker is just as good as say Hamish Brayshaw who went like Pick 2 last year... imo. Pick 12 isn't at all that early for him.

He missed the champs, and the combine... So he is probably the one that's a little under-rated going into this draft.

Took 5 contested marks across 15 games, with 7 goals. In the Best only 6 times. He's not a Bontempelli.

Liam Stocker in the Best 11 times from 14 games, and managed a broken jaw through the season. Have a look at his stats and tackle count, he works hard both ways. He is miles ahead of RCD.

Totally agree in terms of our list build. Although I still think we are just as desperate for natural goal kickers like S Sturt. Yes I know you aren't his biggest fan.

I'm actually a fan i just think a) 12 is a bit of reach and b) there will be similar level players there who fit our needs better. I wouldn't be upset if we took him.

I still reckon Wells will get involved with the live trading anyway - he loves playing around with new rules!

The pick order could be great for live trading. After our pick it's Adelaide, Fremantle, Port Adelaide, Adelaide with west coast also having their picks soon after. If there are good WA or SA prospects available we might be able to bolster our later picks while still picking up our number 1 target.

The attributes are there but his production is poor. Not worth the risk for mine especially given our needs.

If Blakey is bid on in the top 7 where he belongs, the swans will lose quite a few picks just on him.

Yeah, that's all interesting, I think a 10 picks move upwards is very possible now. So suddenly its Pick 12 and Pick 40ish, and then Brownless. That's not so bad.

Makes the Krueger trade a little rich. That pick would have ended up being 2nd round the way the cards have fallen.

So as I read it one of Menzel or Murdoch stays ? Personally I would go Murdoch due to his leg speed. I thought we may have been a bit more active but overall pleased. Next trade period could be an active one with Taylor and Ablett retiring and guys like Smith out of contract we will have plenty of cap space. If we ended up with the extra round one next year also we would have been interesting

So clubs like NM and Pies probably end up being the winners, bringing in elite ready made players, and getting a stack of later picks for points to get their elite kid or two...

I'd still take Menzel. He will be good in a Forward line next to Dahlhaus and Rohan.
