Why I would not take any of them at 12.
You wont have to, they would all get matched.

Who with 12?
Took 5 contested marks across 15 games, with 7 goals. In the Best only 6 times. He's not a Bontempelli.Want Riley Collier - Dawkins this bloke is a Marcus Bontempelli clone 190+ midfielder who can kick goals and is great above his head
Totally agree in terms of our list build. Although I still think we are just as desperate for natural goal kickers like S Sturt. Yes I know you aren't his biggest fan.
Surely it's just best available at 12, and hope for a slider.
I still reckon Wells will get involved with the live trading anyway - he loves playing around with new rules!
I hope we bid on West, Quaynor and Thomas.

12 and a future 1st rounder for a top 6 pick.
Once Rankine and Luko are off the board, the SA clubs may be happy to trade back out of the top 10 for multiple picks.

100% agreed on that. The attributes are there but his production is poor. Not worth the risk for mine especially given our needs.
I'd laugh if our Picks in the 50s-60s end up coming into the 30s and early 40s because of this bidding system... lol
Might be a master-stroke plan.

Nah Rozee Hately and even Valente i can still see going quite high up.
If Blakey is bid on in the top 7 where he belongs, the swans will lose quite a few picks just on him.
Yeah, that's all interesting, I think a 10 picks move upwards is very possible now. So suddenly its Pick 12 and Pick 40ish, and then Brownless. That's not so bad.Same with Nth Melb and Collingwood.
I'd still take Menzel. He will be good in a Forward line next to Dahlhaus and Rohan. So as I read it one of Menzel or Murdoch stays ? Personally I would go Murdoch due to his leg speed. I thought we may have been a bit more active but overall pleased. Next trade period could be an active one with Taylor and Ablett retiring and guys like Smith out of contract we will have plenty of cap space. If we ended up with the extra round one next year also we would have been interesting
