Good news for Sainters Fans
And apparently so will Ball.
What great news for our club (and not so good for some others)

THS, would you like a wager on Goddard being signed before round 22? Don't take too long though, cause it might happen sooner than you'd expect.

FG up at the end of this year also, as is black and powell.
not much clearance, though hammil is staying for less, frankie, I don't think will continue next season, moyle won't be here next season, and I suspect harvey and thommo will clear the decks at the end of 2005, which will leave about 600k room in our salary cap (harves on about 600 but vet) and thommo on 200k but not a veteran.
it will be hard to keep all our players, but I think we'll come close.
if black still wants to go, that will clear out another 300 to 350k from our cap issues, esp if he wants to go to freo again.

"If" this is true and he does sign, I wish the young man all the best with his decision.
Yes we know what the message is Jeff, don't let ego-driven dodgy megalomaniacs lead your club to near ruin.Originally posted by JeffDunne
There's a message in this for Carlton supporters.

What do mean "if". It's a done deal.
Wouldn't surprise me if Brendon is keen to have this announced early next week to shut up all the Carlton speculation.

I'm not interested in playing childish games with you anymore, therefore will ignore the last comment, but will say this, "if" Collingwood finish last or near the bottom four, make sure you cross your "t's" and dot your "i's", as I see them as your biggest worry and not Carlton. We have the foundation now, we just miss a couple of posts to complete the building.
Is this a joke? Surely you don't think Carlton have been focusing on Goddard too much and not Walker, Norman, Waite, Fisher, Thornton & co?Originally posted by JeffDunne
The message I was refering to is what I think is called the Donut Principle.
Focus on the donut and not the hole. i.e. what you have rather than what you haven't
