Less said about that game the better. Hartigan cost us about 4 goals in 30 minutes that i saw. Needs to go straight out along with milera and seedsman. Bring on the finals. Glad the demons did not make finals as they cost me money yesterday. Laird is starting to piss me off bigtime. Use your brain mate, your costing us consistently now. Lynch, jenkins, betts and cameron need to lift.

You didnt like Seeds game compared to Atkins or Dmacs?

Good
Inside mids

Bad
Our transition compared to theirs

Ugly
Umpires - Duggan stone cold HTB in front of goals in the last quarter not given, compared to all the ones they gave against us just as we received the pill, the Eddie on e being the worst of those IMO
And Vardy dropping it in the centre and they kicked a goal

Don't feel anything in particular towards or against Melbourne or West Coast but it's good that the team that won made the finals and the team that lost didn't. Both got exactly what they deserved. It was in Melbourne's hands and they have no one to blame but themselves.

We've never made a like for like replacement for Walker. Menz was the extra forward in Round 1, last year we just reconfigured and made Gov a more focal point.
You're correct. But there was always "a replacement", in Today's game there was a giant void instead of Walker.

Fair call really. Clearly menzel is no chance of being picked in finals they gave games to the most likely that are. Don't mind it we need replacements up to speed short term pain long term gain

Bad- our forward line without Tex.

This board has consistently underestimated his performances this year, and this game demonstrates the reason why. If he's not scoring, or setting up, a bulk of our goals from his play we struggle.

Spot on. At the very least he has the opposition's best defender in his hip pocket and attracts their 3rd man up

Would have liked to have seen a bit of killer instinct today. I'm particular from players who are on the fringe.

Hartigan was reminiscent of a good ol fashioned "Truck" lock-down on Kennedy.

We've undersold Lever and McGovern to a tea, I'd say hypothetical contracts have been pulled from the hypothetical tables.

Seed worked his way into the game nicely, feel we've missed an opportunity so late in the season persisting with CC and Rat. If only him and Milera didn't play so poorly against the Pies.

But enough analysis and time for the real deal, just get right, and get fresh, game review on this one is near pointless - focus on the task at hand and FFS pounce out of the blocks this time!!!

Only won 2 of 5 games in the run in. Not too fussed about that though. We're ready and primed. Freshening up Talia, Tex and Greenwood will be gold for them. Didn't seem to be any injury concerns from today. Hopefully Sloane doesn't get looked at for when he clattered into Shuey.

Coaches have had a good look at Hartigan vs Keath for that defensive spot. Also at Mackay vs Seesdman vs Atkins vs Milera for the two wing spots.

Lead in could not have been better, unless we fell over the line vs Sydney for the belief I guess, but we are better placed entering a finals series than we have been for over a decade.

Agreed. I think it is clear that Hartigan will be better than Keath in finals at this point. Seed should stay in also. It was clear from the match who is soft and who isn't. Pyke will be greatly informed by the match and will have plenty of ammunition with which to work on the players. The real competition starts now: nil-nil. The only advantage we have is two home finals, not to be sneezed at.
