Less said about that game the better. Hartigan cost us about 4 goals in 30 minutes that i saw. Needs to go straight out along with milera and seedsman. Bring on the finals. Glad the demons did not make finals as they cost me money yesterday. Laird is starting to piss me off bigtime. Use your brain mate, your costing us consistently now. Lynch, jenkins, betts and cameron need to lift.
So you didn't watch the game?

Are you f#@king serious that you thought hartigan (who kept Kennedy to one goal, which was a bs free) and seedsman who had 25 possessions and 1.2, were crap!

Put down the pipe dude.

Good:

Sloane is a monster. His disposal wasn't quite there, but that was about the most dominant he's ever been in close.

Brouch was a little handball happy at times, but 10 clearances is solid.

Mrouch was good, but in the second half he kind of went into 'receiver' mode, just taking handball receives. He's better when he wins his own ball.

Seedsman genuinely stood up and asserted in a high pressure game, his best game for the club. He's catapulted his way past Rat, Mookay, and Milera.

Hartigan might have won himself a finals spot, against the odds. Absolutely murdered Kennedy.

Jacobs tap work was some of the best of his career, albeit against an average opponent.

Bad:

Commentators barracking for the Eagles

What is going on with Eddie's set shot. He's always had an awkward style, but it's just not working at the moment.

We lost the game with our forward 50 entries. We played well enough to win, but every other entry was just a blind thump to the advantage of the defenders. With McGovern and Jenkins not in good marking form we just had no chance.

Lever's disposal was poor. When he's not marking everything his inability to defend makes life harder for everyone else.

Charlie looks like he's checked out. We'd be lucky to get pick 30 for him at the moment.

Lynch had a bad one, but he wasn't helped by our disposal

Milera fell out of it in the second half.

Rewatch it mate. Get your hartigan googles off and you will see he will cost us a flag.

I hope you are right, however our finals history can never be taken for granted. Agree that GWS were the best opponent for week 1.

Only thing that matters for finals is a good record against contenders. We have that.

Plus playing Port would be like playing North last season.

That is nuts. i didnt think Brad played all that well but those numbers are crazy.
He was in everything. The mids and running backs seemed to struggle for options all day. No one was making the effort to be a good option. Tex just reaffirmed how important he is to us today.

Its shows how bad we are with Talia. Any idiot that said Lever is more important is crazy.
Walker also hurt as JJ had the best defender and offered nothing.
Keath is not good enough at the moment
CC is poor
Atkins is the worst of the lot, i cant remember him doing anything good at all today.

You'd hope we kick better in the finals, can't really read much from our game though.

At the end I want to get the margin down to keep Melbourne in, think they have a better chance of beating port.
Also a little because west coast got an absolute ride from the umps, they better get it again to make up for it.

That's pretty much it.

Only won 2 of 5 games in the run in. Not too fussed about that though. We're ready and primed. Freshening up Talia, Tex and Greenwood will be gold for them. Didn't seem to be any injury concerns from today. Hopefully Sloane doesn't get looked at for when he clattered into Shuey.

Coaches have had a good look at Hartigan vs Keath for that defensive spot. Also at Mackay vs Seesdman vs Atkins vs Milera for the two wing spots.

Lead in could not have been better, unless we fell over the line vs Sydney for the belief I guess, but we are better placed entering a finals series than we have been for over a decade.

B. Crouch building nicely now he's getting match fit - 43 Disposals, 6 Marks, 6 Tackles, 10 Clearances, 6 Inside 50's, 3 Rebound 50's, 7 Score Involvements, 447 Metres gained, 83% Disposal Efficiency.......85% Time On Ground.

Metres gained only surpassed by Seedsman 603m, Smith 531m and brother Matt 519m.

Yep I agree 100%, though i would go further than the last decade, I would say this is the most prepared we have been for finals, ever.
