Nice win, North looked good in the first half in patches and really took it it us. Was glad to see us put the foot down and pile on some quick goals before half time. 2nd half we were in total control.

Good to see the younger guys get more of a run in the middle today. We need to do this more often and not just against the lower sides.

Rankine and Rachele were both good today, if Rachele kicked straight his numbers would have been fantastic. I liked Thilthorpes game too.

Hinge was great again for the 2nd week in a row, and ROB was everywhere, his best game for a while.

Good to get the 4 points and increase the percentage. Next week is make or break for me for finals chances. If we win this it almost sews up a top 8 spot. Lose it and we will need to beat either Port, Melbourne or Brisbane to get there.
Thilthorpe is looking really dangerous , I’ve got a feeling he will love the indoor stadium

I’d love to start him as deepest forward and hopefully get a couple of quick high ones down there early

This was actually the first time ever I was actually ok with Nicks moving Dawson to half back ( in 2nd half )

Although would have been tempted to try him at half forward instead
Probably would have if were not missing a defender.

What's Butts propognosis?
Tex tackle?
Those two out for Bombers match would make it tough.
Channel 7 reported Butts out for 1 week with concussion... so hopefully not a cheekbone fracture.

I love the way these young guys all go into bat for each other, we saw it last week with the lippy 8 touch a game american, and this week after the late hit on Muzza. They’re all very quick to look out for each other, great signs of the closeness of the playing group
I'm with you

It used to shit me when no one would fly the flag

Loved Worrell's work last week too

Worrell also has looked comfortable playing on taller players the last 2 weeks when we have had injured key defenders.

Adds plenty to our flexibility.

Every possession or defensive act seems to have an impact now.
Powerful player in the contest.

Doesn't usually waste a possession.

Whilst I prefer him on a wing, his ability to move back in defence is crucial given we keep losing defenders during games.

Only O'Brien kicked a goal as a non forward line player, depends if you count Murphy or not I guess but our Forward Line kicked almost our whole score today.
Rachele contributed points again playing midfield...

Hinge our best.

Rachele's best game for the year.
Rachele's best game for a while, but he was better earlier in the season.

Think he had a big round 1 game... & was kicking goals too.

I don't remember early in the season to be honest. But he just seemed to burst away from stoppage alot today.

Today:
13 contested possessions
7 score involvements
7 tackles
5 clearances
