Fantastic win today.
Tex led from the front in the first half. Loved Soligo around the ball and seeing some of the young lads like Cook, Nankervis and Hamill have an impact.
More buoyant going into the Essendon game. Do need Fog to have more of an impact. Can't keep relying on Tex to hold the line up front.

What really p___d me of was two centre bounces today that should have been called back totally played to Carlton’s advantage . The AFL is concerned about making sure every score review is checked but a shit centre bounce can totally advantage one team. Throw up the fricken ball in the centre .

Some of those midfield combos scared me. At times, it was Rankine, Berry and Crouch. At least Rankine was getting it done. Soligo was excellent. Rachele had a super hot start. Same with Nankervis and Keays. Berry finished very well as the sub. Walker was much better.
Smithers at times was terrible, but had a few nice moments along the wing.
Dawson was terrible. Supposed to be our best kick, but has been kicking terribly this year. Supposed to be our best player, but ends up playing predominantly forward. For someone that is supposed to be our best player, if he needs to get involved in the game, why not go back?
Cook and Hamill were quiet.

Crows had 3% chance of winning based on betting odds. My Carlton colleague has been bantering all week thinking it would be a walk in the park.

THIS! Absolutely this! We could all see it, Kingy could see it but Nicks stuck to his "everything is ok, we're just a bit off" for a month and in doing so probably cost us finals.
Finally got a flavoured midfield - do not revert, they need to find a way to always have two of Soilgo, Rankine, Rachelle at CBAs. I don't care who's nose you put out of joint, young talent must rule from now.
