How stupid must St. Kida and Hawthorn feel?

Read my name...

You aint seen nothin yet :D

Kidding, Judd is an absolute star, but IMO, give Hodge a pre-season (remember he hasn't had one yet) and a coach that wont play him in the back pocket and he'll show everyone what he can do...

Easy to say in hindsight mate.

Judd had two shoulder reconstructions before he was picked up in the draft.

It wasn't just Hawthorn and St.Kilda that rated Ball and Hodge higher, the majority of the AFL teams did.

However, good luck to West Coast. They have a talented man there and I wish him all the best.

Actually the specialists said his shoulders were OK and no more susceptible than anyone else.

And there is no way anyone should not have gone for Judd if they saw him play.

Well... Judd's old coach who also happens to be the best friend of the Hawthorn recruiter said that Judd was the best junior footballer he had ever seen... and that if Hawthorn didn't take him with the number 1 pick they would regret it.... Have to say he was right.

Yep, that was and is Barry Rowlings.

St. Kida are that professional team who dont take emergencies to the game when someone is in doubt.

Of course they dont tolerate mediocrity!

They have got to be Kida-ing!

no doubt I'd like to see Judd in a Saints guernsey, but we'll just wait and see what happens at the end of the year. He wants to come back to Melbourne, but there are 8 other teams other than St Kilda and Hawthorn who would be chasing his signature, and its all a matter of where he wants to go.
Is it even confirmed he is leaving the Eagles? If they're smart, they won't let him go that easily.
BTW, I like Luke Ball - lots of potential and a great addition to the St Kilda team.

But hey morons like you have to try to do something to change the subject.

Thank you expert.

Can you please read the minds of the lotto presenters as well, and give me the numbers for next week.

Lets not forget that Polak was in that draft too.
Currently better than Hodge and Ball, he may still be better than Judd.

Judd is heading for the Brownlow at the moment.

If you're referring to Box Hill's game on the weekend, it was Hodge's first game back from injury (chipped thumb) and he was BOG by a mile.

Like i said, he is being played out of position. Until Schwabby puts him in the guts he wont have the impact he should.

BTW He is a different player to Judd, he is hard in and under, not outside and explosive. If anyone has seen him play, one thing he already has over Judd is his kicking. An absolute surgeon with the ball.

In a cuppla years time Hawthorn will be laughing, as they have the BEST player and future captain in Hodge, as well as Judd. You don't seriously think you can keep him can you?;)

Sorry but you wouldn't claim that if you weren't biased. Hodge played 15 games in his first year and finished 6th in Hawthorn's b&f. Has been injured for most of this season.

Polak missed most of last season but is playing fantastic footy this year.

One great year each = They are equal at the moment, by my reckoning.

So what if the Hawks have 'the best player ?????' it's a team game and you need players to play consistent footy to be laughing. It's amazing what a good WIN does that automatically erases all the poor/insipid performances over the last month (reality !!!) ...I suppose Dutchy will be a superstar as well.... and until the Hawks get replacements to play four quarters on a consistent basis then you shouldn't be popping the champagne and celebrating the arrival of a player the Hawks crave until it's a done deal !!! otherwise YOU, Big Boss, will be a laughing stock !! ;) :p

Sorry for being pedantic (not really) but that's actually two good wins (despite what Adelaide fans will have you believe...:D )

That comment about Dutchy is just stupid though, he WAS a superstar (VERY underrated) and after numerous shoulder problems is slowing down.

THAT, Woodson, is a cheap shot.

I do agree with you on the rest though.

all different

Hodge Ball and Judd are all different players. Judd is the only one who can tear a team apart. The other two accumulate possessions but Judd tears teams apart with less possessions.

Luke Ball will not make it as a big name player, he spent time playing school footy when he should have been in the big league. Never hold a player back, they must be challenged and must not be allowed to coast.

If that's the case, Hawthorn must have been given some dud info because they've publicly said that they overlooked Judd because of his shoulder reconstruction.

So why did the vast majority of scouts prefer Hodge?

Easy to be clever after the fact.
