am I the only one that doesn't mind eddies commentary?

I enjoy his commentary, even when he yelled 'Tarrant' around the end of the Cretaceous period in that game at the Dome in 2003 when he took that hanger over Scarlett and co, so early was his call that day.

Bombers have completely dropped off. Probably has something to do with half their players missing a year.
It's more to do with Essendon than Geelong.
Maybe. Although Adelaide didn't lose half their team for 2 years, and we played a quarter of the same crap, over-possessing handball-heavy footy at the beginning of last week's game.

I suppose if you work on the assumption that the coaches are desperate to win every preseason game, the most logical conclusion would be that we have brought our best footy to every JLT game.

Given that a lot of players struggled with the pressure teams like Sydney brought last year, and our ball movement was irritatingly slow at times, it seems to me that there would be advantages to telling the players to spend part of a game prioritising handballing, even when it's not the best option - it might help improve their resilience dealing with elite opposition pressure, or could help encourage them to kick the ball rather than handball to nearby teammates under comparable pressure.

But you're probably right. The Essendon players are probably exhausted after half a game at the end of the preseason. Adelaide were probably tired last week at 1/4 time from the interstate flight.

Those that were bagging Chris Scott for the first half, how much credit do you give him for the 3rd 1/4?
Don't you know how his works? Essendon took the foot of the gas.

as much shit as he was earning before should turn the corner now..

Of course it wont happen

Go Catters

Stewart?

God I hope not.

Black not playing today is them telegraphing Taylor will play forward against Freo.

Kolodashnij won't be fit, if they were going to play Gardner he would have played the pre season games and he hasn't, and we have played 3 key defenders for the last 10 years.

So who is playing 3rd tall defender if not Stewart? That's why he will get picked IMO. (which is a separate discussion as to whether he plays 50 games or not).
