Well then he needs to hurry up and win the championship so he can come back.... (He can replace Monty lets send him to Ireland....We may have to pay Kerry to take him but it will be worth it)

Cork won the replay 1-17 to 0-12.

FWIW Kerry can still make the quaters they just have to do it the long way but my info is there going to battle to get Cork or Tyrone this year.

Haven't seen it just read a report from a Muster report. He scored an over at an Important time early when Cork were threating to pull away was his only mention from two articles. Cork than pulled away regardless. I guess Im only the person on this board who likes this result.

All my family support Kerry..... (I think my ancestors were from that area...But not overly sure)

Not a chance, delighted about it, made my day the tension was almost unbearable in the stands at the start because of the delay at the start. To beat Kerry like that though, what a feeling, went in ahead at half time by like 5 points I think, can't really remember, but Cork being Cork we'd all a sense that we'd throw it away and Kerry would come storming back in, they did, scored a good few unanswered points and were level with us shortly after the second half started, then we got a penalty, and we didn't look back. What a day, after having to sink to the ground endless of times after getting trashed by Kerry over and over again, like the AI final in 07 and having to listen to them singing cheerio cheerio cheerio when Cork fans left a few minutes before the end in Croker when we were being destroyed, it was one of the highlights of the season so far watching them leave the pairc early. What a day, what a game.

....Kennelly did play well though, probably one of the better Kerry players on the team. Kerry weren't really up for it, the younger Cork team and teh subs they made had a massvie impact on the game. Kerry now go through the backdoor, which will be tough again but they'll probably come out the other side, and knowing Cork, knowing our luck, we'll draw them, play them in Croke Park and..get trashed by them, again.

No hopefully this will be our year though.

Kennelly, although reluctant to commit either way appears to be open-minded. “I don’t really know what is going to happen. I am here (in Ireland) now, I am doing my thing here and I don’t want to think about that other stuff,” he said. “In a way it is the same as when I was in Oz. There, I was focused on playing with the Swans and in the back of my mind I thought I would go home at some stage.”

This would appear to suggest that it is something he has been giving serious consideration. “Now I am the same. I am focused on my goal of playing with Kerry, do everything I can to do that successfully, but in the back of my mind there is an opportunity to go back and play (in Sydney) for a couple of years.” It would be a surprise if some informal talks have not already taken place.

good to see him having success back in ireland

but i still don't want him back..... reminds me of the biblical figure samson (his strength derived from his hair)..... kennelly was losing both his afl attributes, talent and hair in the final year

thats a tad random cowfever...

well when i think back on kennelly

a few thinks stick out

his poor final year, his irish jig on gf day, his running goal of the year contender, his shoulder

but its always his balding scalp that comes to my mind first :)

It's the jig and shoulder for me.

He was pretty much our best player last year in last years semi final remember?

He had some injury issues but if his shoulder is good to go he will be a great pick up for us
