Lynch at CHF is all well and good, and I agree. But the query is, can the replacement FF (Kennedy?) kick enough goals to warrant the move.

Well we have Brown, C Jones and Kennedy lining up for a crack, even Hansen may end up there.

One interesting question is will we rotate several players through the goal square? This is what I think will happen as flexibility in the modern game has taken over from the 100+ goal full forward.

I mean;

Kennedy - FF, FP, CHF, HFF
C Jones - FF, FP, CHF, Ruck
Cox / Seaby - Ruck, FP, FF (Cox ruck rover:p)
Lynch - CHF, FF, Ruck, CHB
Hansen - CHF, HFF, FF,FP
Hunter - CHB, HBF, FB, FF, FP, HFF, CHF
M Brown - FF, CHB, CNF, HFF, FP, FB
Le Cras - HFF, FP, FF(small leading), midfield
J Graham - CHB, BP, HBF, FP, FF, HFF, CHF
Staker - anywhere

haha, classic mate :thumbsu: its uncanny..

You know I wonder if Hansen would do better injury-wise at FF - he'd have less ground to cover.

So to mix things up in 2008 we have say make a few tweeks such as;

Staker > Wing
Wirra > Forward pocket
Waters > Half forward flank
Lynch > Centre half foward
Hansen > Full forward
Hurn > Midfield rotation
Nicoski > back pocket
Hunter > running half back flank
Graham / Brown > Centre half back

Some of these are subtle changes with players already had some experience in these positions.

Staker is training exclusively as a in and under midfielder Obeanie. Wont spend much time on the wing cos in general he wont have the fitness atm or the kicking skills to last in that position full time.

What people fail to realise is Staker is VERY hard to tackle. Playing as a midfeidler will help his decision making too which is his major flaw

Plus he's now our fastest player IIRC. Definately handy in stoppages:thumbsu:

I think you will find Mitch Brown will have a little camio through the midfield a big body very quick and would be hard to take down!
The best C/H/Fs have been for a trot through the centre.
J. Brown Was use in the middle.
M. Pavlich as well
A. Kouta played as a tall midfielder drifting forward
So dont be supprised when it happens!

Pfft, that's a lie!

Everyone knows that Braun is going to be our full forward:thumbsu:

NO !!

I spoke to Worsfold yesterday and he said Brawn is going to be playing as a backup ruck men to Wira but pinch hit at Fullback. Now i know it might sound abit ridiculous but Glass is going to be playing in the center and take Judds spot.

That is what Worsfold tole me. ;)

I heard Braun is going to coach the team without the knowledge of Woosha using a system of blinks and mysterios hypnosis techniques developed by the other 15 clubs in the AFL in order to tempt Fremantle into trading with them

So if he's not on a wing then he starts in the middle?

For some reason I just don't see him in at centre bounces. And if he's fit enough to play mid then surely he should have the tank to play wing????

This is a move that IMO will be used to confuse the opposition.

EG Staker starts on a HFF/wing for the centre bounce, then moves onto the ball. If he's in a full shut down role he may start in the middle holding Goodes hand or who ever.
