More than the 4 weeks you're proposing....
Gone Critical and I have proposed the last two seasons in our earlier posts, which is more than reasonable.
This season Fadge, not last year, not the last 4 weeks

Mate, if Cripps wins his 2nd this year, fair to say he is the top dog as at seasons endMore than the 4 weeks you're proposing....

And if Daicos wins it, will you acknowledge he's 'Top Dog'?Mate, if Cripps wins his 2nd this year, fair to say he is the top dog as at seasons end
SureAnd if Daicos wins it, will you acknowledge he's 'Top Dog'?
But if Cripps wins it, then Nick's got 2 years to catch him, not overtakeAnd if Daicos wins it, will you acknowledge he's 'Top Dog'?
Hilarious. But if Cripps wins it, then Nick's got 2 years to catch him, not overtake
Neale might get his 3rd, which would put him further in front of Nick in the pecking order . Nicks gotta start lifting his game you would think.Hilarious.
Lachie Neale is currently twice the player Cripps is.
And infinitely better than Petracca, Gawn, Pendlebury, etc. have been... [sarcasm]
Oh no, so that would make Neale 3 times the player Cripps is?Neale might get his 3rd, which would put him further in front of Nick in the pecking order . Nicks gotta start lifting his game you would think.
I guess 4 times the player of Nick as wellOh no, so that would make Neale 3 times the player Cripps is?
Then I think you are splitting hairs. The answer to that question is subjective and there is no absolute right or wrong. Its an opinion. You asked for data that supports the claim and there is a reasonably strong case to be made from the data. Not sure how you can take it further. There are no absolutes with this opinion. Where else do you want to take it.No, I'm actually arguing the claim that he currently is the best according to your mate.
I'm refuting that claim
Can't lay claim of being the current best without taking some awards along the way. Copeland trophies aren't going to cut the mustard. Then I think you are splitting hairs. No, he'd be INFINITELY better than Nick (and every other player who has never won a Brownlow, including Matthews, Carey, Buddy, Bont, etc.).I guess 4 times the player of Nick as well
So Leigh Matthews, Gary Ablett Snr and Wayne Carey should be excluded from the GOAT discussions? Can't lay claim of being the current best without taking some awards along the way. Copeland trophies aren't going to cut the mustard.

So are we talking about players who were part of the best of their generation, over the course of around 10-15 years then are we ? Oh boy.So Leigh Matthews, Gary Ablett Snr and Wayne Carey should be excluded from the GOAT discussions?
Of course he has.So are we talking about players who were part of the best of their generation, over the course of around 10-15 years then are we ? Oh boy.
Nicks got a long way to go then
That's not how the burden of proof works. You (and others) have made the claim. Now you have to back it up. Not tell people to show stats proving he's not.Use your 'statistics' to prove that he isn't...
And be sure to understand the statistics you're using to support your claim this time.
Maybe read the thread and the other comments before and after this specific post, and reconsider what you want to say. That's not how the burden of proof works. You (and others) have made the claim. Now you have to back it up. Not tell people to show stats proving he's not.
For example, if I made a claim that the Fadgelow (Fadge Browlow) is the greatest award that can be bestowed upon a player, I'd have to provide proof of that claim when challenged, otherwise it's just hot air. I can't make that claim and then tell people to prove that I'm wrong, because then I could just make another baseless claim and another...
Back to your usual deflecting and gaslighting after taking a massive L.Maybe read the thread and the other comments before and after this specific post, and reconsider what you want to say.

I think you have me confused with someone else.Back to your usual deflecting and gaslighting after taking a massive L.
This would be a great idea, though unfortunately i don't think De Goey's fitness levels are where they need to be to play permanent mid.Naicos needs help bloke is carrying the whole side right now and not getting a inch of space at stoppages needs more blocks/support from his teammates.
Play Dgoey as a permanent mid?

And he is great for stints.Looked bloody good when he went there for a stint on the weekend.
