Goodwin has done a great job setting up players in the same roles week after week after week. Unlike our coach he doesn’t tinker and drop players for the sake of it allowing the team to work together.

It’s not guys playing above themselves, it’s guys learning to play as a team.
Can do that when you only have 2 -3 injuries for the year

Strong Irish flavour tonight. Or maybe a noticeable lack of it.

On the one side people are asking will Paddy realise his last chance to win a flag? On the other we have the Orange and the Greene. Except this time there's no Greene (or Tom Green either). And no Hogan. Without Hogan who'll be the hero? Kelly perhaps? Tuohy?

Maybe Himmelburg will step up without Hogan there

Hoping GWS gets up just so Geelong don't ... but expecting a comfortable Cats win.

Not sure if tonight is a win-win situation or a lose-lose situation.

Prefer Geelong to win tonight and it’s not due to hating the Giants.

Cats IMO a better chance to knock off Melbourne next week - still a slim chance, but they’d be better placed to knock them off than GWS.

Then if we win tomorrow and next week against Port, a GF against Geelong I’d fancy our chances.

Was thinking the same thing. The commentators didn’t criticise Hawkins for the massive dive there. Weightman would have copped it in the neck from all and sundry.

For a big strong guy he is a delicate little flower when contact comes his way....
