Good get. Caro's longevity wins the day for me, though.

Dispels the myth that the Pies are a young side.

Its because their best players this season have been the Daicos boys (20 and 24) and De Goey and Moore (both 27), but if you look through the list they have:
old man Pendles is 35,
Howe is 33,
Sidebottom is 32,
Cox is 32 (whenever I hear people talk about him, they think he is 28ish),
Elliott/Mihocek/Mitchell are all 30, Hoskin-Elliott/Adams/Crisp all turn 30 by the end of October and they have a lot of players in the 26-28 age bracket.

They are well placed with 22-28 year olds going forward and will be strong as a result the next few years (and sadly likely a flag in the next 3 years) but they have a lot of older players.

I'll prefaces this with I know the FIFA Women's World Cup isn't for everyone, but this is pretty cool to see a couple of AFL venues confirm they'll be airing our quarter final match before & after the respective AFL matches they're hosting on Saturday afternoon/evening

I think it's based purely on their most recent win - the idea that Hawthorn isn't a good team this year but they beat top of the table Collingwood, so Mitchell is therefore a good coach

They banned me on the Shuey retires thread on the main board for trolling apparently. All I said was Shuey admitted to cheating a final against Port Adelaide and will never be anything more than a WC champion. Then this guy went on a 500 word rant on how Shuey is better than Selwood
