The Port girls were told at 3/4 time if they lose they get Hinkley as coach next year

Its so dumb of Gold Coast, the away looks good in the colours but still looks like a training jumper.
Why wouldn't you go a gold or yellow logo on a red background?
Or if you want a red on red why wouldn't you do a gradient? Have a light red and a medium red gradient jumper, with a darker red logo so it pops.

I mean it still looks shit, but at least then your collar and logo are one shade of red that pops out.
With no other features it just looks like a training jumper.
No clubs have a single stripe down the middle, or two stripes down the arm which is traditional and works with the Suns triple colours, why not use those?

Yes the red on red decision is very odd, especially given they are the Gold Coast suns, and you know, the sun is commonly thought of as yellow.
Maybe they're trying to move on from the same colour scheme as life savers, but I'd think they should embrace that association with the beach and athleticism. At least it's some sort of identity. Getting past the colour issues, this seriously looks like the logo of a financial institution, insurance company, or something like that. I don't look at it and think sports club.

If there is one thing that Hawthorn people are qualified to comment on, it is shitty jumper designs.
Hawthorn have cornered the market in crap jumpers over many years.
